How coins work in Dirassa Studio
Coins are the currency of all of Dirassa Studio: the same balance pays for knowledge maps, questions, boards, booklets, animated explainers and promo videos. Recording and editing on your computer cost nothing. Every service reserves its price before it starts and settles when it ends, and anything that fails is refunded in full. This guide shows you where your balance lives, what each service costs, what a plan gives you each month, how to top up, and how to read the ledger.
- About 3 minutes
- 5 steps
Who can do it: Requires permission to edit lessons in your role. The balance belongs to the workspace: everyone working in Dirassa Studio for it spends from it, except in a school that turned on “School Studio”, where each teacher has a pocket.
In 5 steps
- 1Your balance is in Dirassa Studio’s “Balance”, and on the web under “Dirassa Studio”, “Coins”.
- 2Prices come from the server (knowledge map 2, questions 1 per 20 and boards 1 per 10, recording and editing free); the price is held before the work and refunded in full if it fails.
- 3A plan adds its coins when it’s activated, with media hours and free assistance for each month.
- 4Top up with a card code, or request a card or coins (55 DZD a coin) and get a call to arrange payment.
Before you start
- Dirassa Studio installed and linked to your school: without a link the balance can’t be read and paid services don’t run.
- A phone number you can be reached on if you request a top-up or a plan.
- If you bought a top-up card: its 12-character code.
- The Studio plan is separate from your academy’s plan and its student and storage limits.
- Step 1 of 5
Where your balance lives
In Dirassa Studio’s sidebar, under “Workspace”, open “Balance”: the “Wallet” page (“Your balance and what it was spent on”). At the top, “Your balance” in large type, and beneath it what that means in work: “Enough for N prepared lessons” (a prepared lesson is a knowledge map, questions and boards: 4 coins), then “N added” and “N spent”. Beside it, “Your plan · …” and “Top up your balance”; below, four tabs: “Overview”, “Top up”, “Plans” and “History”. In “Overview”, two meters for this month: “Media hours left” (minutes of lesson you can still bring in) and “Free assistance left” as a percentage. On the web: “Dirassa Studio”, then “Coins”, the same number under “Coin balance”, because it’s a “Shared workspace balance”.

The balance is the workspace’s: a coin a colleague spends is missing from the number you see (with “School Studio”, each teacher has a pocket). The ledger says what went where.

What each service costs, and what’s free
The “Pricing” table in “Overview” (on the web, “Service prices”) is “Read from the server, not from the app — what you see here is exactly what is charged.” For now its service names show in Arabic. Today: knowledge map 2, and editing it afterwards is free · questions 1 per 20 questions, and assembling an exam from your earlier questions is free · lesson boards 1 per 10 boards · course plan 1, and refining it or redoing a module is free · short booklet 2 (3 chapters, 10 to 12 pages), standard 3 (5 chapters, 15 to 19), full 4 (7 chapters, 19 to 24), another design for the booklet 3 and an idea in the booklet editor 1, both charged only once they succeed · short drawn explainer 3 (up to 20 seconds), drawn explainer 4 (up to 60 seconds), rich drawn explainer 5 · promo video of 15 seconds 15, 30 seconds 25, 45 seconds 35, 60 seconds 45, and rebuilding a shot 2 · smart editing: 1 coin per ten minutes of recording at most, charged at what the reading actually cost. No coins: local transcription (within media hours), writing help within your daily allowance, recording cleanup (twenty a day), and all recording and editing. Every service: “The price is reserved before the work, settled after it, and anything that fails is refunded in full.”
On screenPricingService pricesFreeServiceBilling unitYour balance is not enough.TipThe price shows on each service’s button before you press it, worked out from this same table: 25 questions cost 2, because every twenty started is a coin.
Heads-up“Your balance is not enough.” charges nothing. And if the app closes or loses the network halfway through a job, the held price comes back by itself: a check runs every hour and refunds, once, any job left unfinished more than an hour past its time limit; you see it as a “Refund” line in the ledger.
- Step 3 of 5
Plans and what they give each month
The “Plans” tab (“Request a plan here — we call you to arrange payment, then activate it.”) shows four plans, each with “Coins each month”, “Media hours” and “Prepared lessons” — their names show in Arabic: بداية 3,500 DZD: 60 coins and 4 hours (≈ 15 lessons) · منشئ 8,000 DZD: 150 coins and 8 hours (≈ 37) · أستاذ 15,000 DZD: 350 coins and 12 hours (≈ 87) · مدرسة 42,000 DZD: 900 coins and 40 hours (≈ 225). Your plan is marked “Yours” with “Renew your plan”, the next one “Next step up”, the others “Request this plan”. After requesting: “Your request is in. We will call you to arrange payment and activate the plan.” Once the request is approved, the plan becomes yours and its coins are added to your balance as a “Plan credit” line. Media hours and free assistance count per calendar month and start again on the 1st.

No charge or credit is applied until approval.”
Heads-upA plan doesn’t renew by itself: next month’s coins arrive when you request “Renew your plan” and the request is approved. Until a plan is activated, your school counts as “بداية”: its media hours and free assistance apply, but its coins are added only after an approved request.
- Step 4 of 5
Top up your balance
The “Top up” tab has two ways. Got a card code? “Redeem a card code”: type its twelve characters (“Letters are not case-sensitive and dashes are ignored.”) and press “Top up”: “N credits added. Your balance is now N.” No code? “Order a top-up card”: 10 coins (550 DZD), 20 (1,100 DZD) or 50 (2,750 DZD), or “Custom size” from 5 to 1000; leave “Your phone” and press “Send the request”. The price is the same for every size: 55 DZD a coin. “We call you to arrange payment by CCP or BaridiMob; once it is approved, the coins land in your balance.” The request shows under “Your requests” as “Being reviewed” until it’s decided; you can cancel it while it waits. On the web, in “Coins”: “Redeem a code” and “Request coin top-up”.

What you buy stays yours.TipCoins never expire, and a plan beats topping up for anyone working every month: 350 coins in “أستاذ” for 15,000 DZD, against 19,250 DZD in single coins.
Heads-upOne pending request per kind: if “You already have a pending request of this kind. Wait for it, or cancel it first.” appears, wait or cancel the first. A used or expired code is refused (“This code has already been used.” / “This code has expired…”) without touching your balance.
- Step 5 of 5
Read the ledger
The “History” tab holds “Your ledger”: every movement with its “Description” (the lesson or booklet name, or the start of the explainer’s text), its “Type” (“Knowledge map”, “Quiz”, “Boards”, “Booklet”, “Explainer”, “Wallet”…), “When” and the “Amount”: negative for spending, positive for additions. A refund doesn’t erase the charge: a positive “Refund” line comes below it, so you see the charge and its return together. In “Overview”, “Where it went”: each service, its total and how many times, and the “Spending · last 14 days” chart. On the web, in “Coins”: “Coin activity” over 30 days (“Balance deductions” or “Balance additions”) and the “Coin ledger” of the latest 100 entries: “Plan credit”, “Wallet top-up”, deductions and additions.

Questions
Are the coins mine or the school’s?
The school’s. It’s a shared workspace balance: every computer linked to your school spends from the same number, which you see on the web under “Coin balance”.
What if a service fails after I paid?
The price is held before the work and refunded in full if it fails, as a “Refund” line in the ledger. If the app closes midway, an hourly check refunds, once, any job left unfinished more than an hour past its time limit.
Do coins expire?
No: “Coins never expire. What you buy stays yours.” What runs out is the month’s media hours and free assistance, renewed on the 1st of each calendar month.
Does my plan renew by itself?
No. Request “Renew your plan” under “Plans” (or “Request plan activation” on the web); you get a call to arrange payment, and once the request is approved the plan’s coins are added to your balance.
How do I pay?
Payment happens outside the app: you leave your phone number in the request and get a call to settle it (by CCP or BaridiMob, as the app says). Or you buy a top-up card and enter its code under “Redeem a card code”.
What costs nothing?
Recording and editing on your computer, local transcription within media hours, writing help within your daily allowance, recording cleanup (twenty a day), refining a course plan, editing a map after it’s generated, and assembling an exam from your question bank.
Is the Studio plan my academy plan?
No: “Studio plans are separate from academy student and storage limits.” The first covers coins and media hours, the second your students and your courses’ storage.
