“Apps”: add only what your academy needs
Your academy — courses, students, money and site — works on its own. Everything else is an app you add when you need it: community, bookings, lives, store, partners, school, Dirassa Studio and organization. An added app opens its section in your dashboard, and where it fits a tab for your students and pages on your site; hide it whenever you like, and nothing is ever deleted.

Who can do it: The page and the “+” are for members with the manage-settings permission (owner and admins); only the owner adds the school.

Before you start
- The manage-settings permission in your role.
- An idea of what you offer besides courses: discussion, sessions, lives, products, a team.
- Step 1 of 4
Where to find “Apps”
In the column, under the “Academy” section, a dashed “+” button: “Apps — add what your academy needs”. Below it sit the apps you added, each in its fixed place. It opens the “Apps” page: “Your academy works on its own. Add only what you need, hide what you no longer use. Nothing is ever deleted.”, with a meter of the Dirassa+ apps you added. You also reach it from ⌘K, the first-day question on the home, and a Noqta suggestion.
On screenAcademyAppsTipA new app glows in the column for 14 days, or until you first open it.
- Step 2 of 4
The page: what you have, what you can add
First “In your academy”: the academy tile, always there (“Courses, students, money and site”), then each added app with its live number (members, next live, Studio balance…) and a badge when work waits, and ⋯ with “Details” and “Hide from my academy”. Then three shelves: “Teach more” — Community, Bookings, Lives; “Sell more” — Store, Partners; “Work as a team” — School, Dirassa Studio, Organization. Last, “Coming soon”: parents, cohorts and attendance, a marketplace — with “Notify me”.

Add an app and start it
Click a card and a window says what the app does, then where it reaches — “In your dashboard”, “For your students”, “On your site” — who on your team sees it, and its cost: within your plan (Studio: its tools use coins). Press “Add” on the card or in the window: a message confirms it with “Undo”, and its section appears in the column. The window then turns into three first steps that tick themselves as they happen, and, for community, bookings and lives, a notice you can send to all your students; then later, or open the app.

- Step 4 of 4
Hide what you no longer need
From ⋯ on the card or from its window: “Hide from my academy”. A dialog says what stays saved as it is and what stops, then cancel or hide. If work is still open — orders, upcoming sessions, subscriptions, scheduled lives, partner payouts — the app can’t be hidden yet: each item has its link so you can settle it. After hiding, a message confirms its data is kept, with “Undo”. Add it back whenever you like.
On screenHide from my academyTipHiding deletes nothing: add the app back and your members, products and appointments are as you left them.
What comes next
- CommunityA first discussion space for your students.
- BookingsA first service people book on your time.
- StoreA first printed or digital product.
Questions
Do apps cost extra?
They are all within your plan. Only Dirassa Studio’s tools use coins when you use them.
I hid Community — are my spaces lost?
No. Hiding deletes nothing: everything stays saved, and only what the dialog lists stops. Add it back and it is as you left it.
Why can’t I hide the Store?
Because work is still open, like pending orders. The dialog names each item with its link; settle it, then hide.
Why don’t I see the “+” under the academy?
It shows only with the manage-settings permission. Ask the academy owner to add the app.
Where is the Designer among the apps?
Like the academy, the Designer is a base section that is always there: it is neither added nor hidden.
