Series and Q&A hours: one rule makes the dates
When a live comes back every week you don’t schedule it one by one: you write a rule (“every Friday 16:00, eight episodes”), the dates appear, you name each episode, and students register once for all of them, with a reminder before each. Two kinds: a **series**, a programme with a number of episodes, and a **Q&A hour**, an open-ended weekly slot. Salim Bouzid builds “Bac without fear” in 8 Friday episodes; Karim Zerrouki and Wafa Sellami open the English Q&A hour every Sunday at 18:00. The same way works for a photography trainer running a 4-week photo challenge.

- 6 steps
Who can do it: “Own live classes” for their series; “All teachers’ live classes” for those in their scope.
In 6 steps

- 2From “Schedule”: “Repeats weekly” under the time makes the date the “First date”, “Who is it for?” decides series or Q&A hour, then “Publish the series”.
- 3“Episodes”: each one’s date and title; tap the title to change it; every episode is a full live.
- 4“Skip” a week: the following episodes shift a week and nothing is deleted; “Restore” brings it back.
Before you start

Series and programmes, in the “What you broadcast” group: one rule makes the dates, one registration for all. At the top, two buttons: Q&A hour and New series, which open “New live” on their kind. Each series has its row: title, rule (“every Friday 16:00”), episode count (or “No end”), the next date, registrants, the programme’s progress and status (“Draft”, “Running”, “Ended”). With no series yet, the page offers “Create a series”.

Creating: “Repeats weekly” in “Schedule”
You set the first date like any live, then turn on “Repeats weekly”; “Who is it for?” decides: a series or a Q&A hour.
- SeriesFor a course’s students, anyone who registers or with a ticket: 8 dates by default, 2 to 60.
- Q&A hour“Repeats weekly” for “All my students”; “No end date” gives a year of dates.
- Ready-made doors“New series” and “Question hour” open the form with the switch on.
All the details
In Schedule (or “New series” and “Question hour” from “Series and programmes”, or “Live series” in the phone’s “+”), write the title, answer “Who is it for?” and pick the day, time and length like any live, then turn on Repeats weekly under the time: the date becomes First date and the switch reads “Every Friday at 16:00”. A counter of dates appears (8 by default, 2 to 60) with a reminder that skipping a week shifts the episodes without deleting them, and “No end date” for a year of dates. The kind follows “Who is it for?”: “All my students” makes it a Q&A hour; “A course’s students”, “Anyone who registers” or “With a ticket” (one ticket for every episode) a Series. “Question hour” from “Series and programmes” opens with “All my students” and “No end date” already picked. Every episode runs on the link chosen in “Where does it happen?”: your Google Meet or Zoom link while the Dirassa+ room isn’t open. Then Publish the series: every date is made at once, a reminder goes out before each, and the series page opens.

Assign the moderator per episode from its page, or give them a school moderator role. In a school where management chooses who broadcasts, only those chosen create a series.

Questions
What’s the difference between a series and a Q&A hour?
A series is a programme with a number of episodes (2 to 60), each with its title; a Q&A hour is a weekly slot repeating with no end or a set number, for all your students, who bring their questions.
Does a student register for every episode?
No. One registration covers every episode, with a reminder before each date and when it starts.
What happens to the episodes when I skip a week?
Every later episode shifts a week with its title, nothing is deleted, and registrants get a notice about that date. “Restore” undoes it.
Can I change the series’ time after it has started?
Yes, with “Change the rule”. Only upcoming dates change, and every changed date reaches registrants.
Is every episode recorded?
On a Meet or Zoom link we record nothing: record from your meeting if you like. Recording and a replay for each episode come with the Dirassa+ room.
