The “Inbox”: everything waiting for your decision, from every section
The “Inbox” gathers in one window what waits for a decision from you across your dashboard: a receipt to accept, a student’s question, a paper to mark, a request to join a space, a message from a site visitor. Each row carries the person’s name and is settled in place without opening its page. Its second tab, “News”, holds your notifications: bookings, lives, sales, replies and security alerts.
- About 4 minutes
- 5 steps
Who can do it: Every team member has their own Inbox; a group only appears if your role allows it (approving payments, answering support, moderating the community, marking).
In 5 steps
- 1Open the “Inbox” from its button in the column or the phone dock, or G then I.
- 2Read “Waiting”: the groups waiting for you and the rows from other sections.
- 3Settle each row in place: accept, reject, reply, answer, mark — with “Undo” for a few seconds.
- 4Read “News”: your notifications by day, and “Mark all read”.
Before you start
- The dashboard with the new navigation (the column on desktop, the bottom dock on phones).
- Your role’s permissions: what it doesn’t allow doesn’t show in your Inbox.
- For phone notifications, install the dashboard as an app (lesson “Phone app”).
- Step 1 of 5
Where to find the “Inbox”
On desktop, the “Inbox” button at the bottom of the column, under Noqta, shows how many things wait (up to “99+”). On a phone, “Inbox” is the fourth slot of the bottom dock. On a keyboard: G then I. A window opens in the middle (nearly full screen on a phone), closed with ✕ or a click outside; at its foot, “Open the full inbox” leads to the full page. Under the title: “What waits for your decision, across every section”, or the waiting count.

- Step 2 of 5
“Waiting”: what needs your decision
The first tab, “Waiting”, is made of groups, each with its count and “All” to its page: “Receipts to review” (receipts for courses, spaces, bookings and products; its “All” opens “Incoming”), “Your students’ questions” (threads where the student spoke last), “Questions in your spaces” (questions from the last 30 days with no staff answer), “Papers to mark”, “Join requests” and “Messages from your site”. Then “In other sections”: rows that count and open — Dirassa+ team replies, school requests to decide, one row such as “3 requests wait for you in Incoming” that gathers store orders, booking requests, orders to confirm by phone and parcels (it opens “Incoming”), partner items, and today’s tasks.

- Step 3 of 5
Settle the row in place
Receipt: “Receipt” — or a tap on the row itself — opens the image under the row, on a phone too, and scrolls until all of it shows: “Zoom in” and “Zoom out” (or double-click to zoom), “Rotate” a quarter turn, “Full size” and “Download”; a PDF opens with “Open the file”. “Accept”, above the image on the row itself, opens what the student paid for, so you never accept a receipt you haven’t seen; under the image, “Open order” (it opens in “Incoming”) and “Reject receipt…” with a reason the student sees (optional), the image staying in view while you write it. Student question: “Reply” opens a box, then “Send”, or “Open conversation”. Space question: “Answer” — your answer is posted in the space for every member. Paper: “Mark” opens grading. Join request: “Accept” or “Decline”. Site message: reply by email in your academy’s name, or “WhatsApp” if only a phone was left, and ✓ “Done — answered outside the platform”. Accept, reject and “Done” wait a few seconds with “Undo” before they run; replies go at once.

“News”: your notifications
The second tab, “News”, holds your notifications, grouped “Today”, “Yesterday” and “Earlier”: bookings, lives, sales and showcases, student reviews, replies to you, school, organization and apps news, and security alerts (payout account, address, domain, new device). Similar news on the same day merge with a “×3” chip, and new ones carry a dot. Click one: it is read and its page opens. At the top “Mark all read”, at the bottom “Older”.

- Step 5 of 5
When a row leaves, and what the number counts
Opening the Inbox marks nothing read. A “Waiting” row leaves when the work is done: accepted or rejected, answered, marked, or ticked “Done” — from the Inbox or from its page. News is read when you click it, or with “Mark all read”. The number on the button = what waits in the sections (not today’s tasks) + unread news; it refreshes every minute and when you come back to the window. When nothing is left: “Nothing is waiting for you”.

What comes next
- “Incoming”“All” on “Receipts to review” opens “Incoming”: everything your students send, receipt, order or booking, in one list.
- SupportThe full thread, saved replies and the student’s card are in “Support”.
- GradingThe whole queue of papers in “Grading”.
Questions
I opened the Inbox and the number didn’t change — why?
Opening reads nothing. The number drops when you settle a “Waiting” row, click a news item or press “Mark all read”.
I accepted a receipt by mistake — can I undo it?
Yes, for a few seconds: “Undo” appears after accepting or rejecting, and nothing runs before the delay ends, your next decision, or closing the window.
My colleague sees receipts and I don’t
Each group shows only if the role allows it: receipts for approving payments, questions for answering support, spaces for moderating the community, papers for marking.
Am I notified on my phone about what reaches the Inbox?
Yes if you installed the dashboard as an app and allowed notifications (lesson “Phone app”). The Inbox itself doesn’t set notifications.
I forgot a receipt that’s waiting — does anything remind me?
Yes, twice: a day after the receipt was sent, then three days after — a notification, which also reaches your phone if you turned notifications on, and an email whose button opens the receipt in “Incoming”. It goes to everyone who approves payments in your academy. The student reads on their page that receipts are usually reviewed within 24 hours and, after two days, finds a way to reach the academy.
Where did the old bell go?
It became “News” inside the Inbox, and what announced work moved into “Waiting”.
