Launch prices, seats and the waiting list
A marketing coach opens his course cheaper for one week; a yoga teacher takes only thirty people into her cohort. Launch prices and seats tell buyers the truth: the date or the “N left” they see is computed by the server from real orders, and the rules stop anyone playing with a price buyers have already seen. Once the offer is full, the button turns into a waiting list on its own.
- About 7 minutes
- 6 steps
Who can do it: People with the “Offers” permission in the workspace.
In 6 steps
- 1Tap “Launch price” in the sentence: it starts at once, 15% lower for seven days, and you pick its name.
- 2Set each option’s price, the start and end in Algiers time, and “For how many first buyers?”.
- 3Once it starts, its price and cap stay; it can be extended once and never shortened.
- 4“Limited seats”: the number of seats, what counts, and when visitors see “N left”.
Before you start
- An offer with a price set: “Set the price first, then add the launch price.”.
- A one-item offer sells through the “order sheet” and so knows launch prices; one exception: an item that relies on something the engine doesn’t cover (such as activation-card cash on delivery or activation codes) stays on the current checkout page, which ignores them.
- Every date is in Algiers time, whatever your device’s time zone.
- Step 1 of 6
Start a launch price
One tap starts a lower price for a limited time, with honest numbers the buyer reads on the page.
- How much lower?15% lower, rounded down, for seven days: “Content marketing” at 6,900 DZD starts at 5,800 DZD.
- Its name on the page“Launch price”, “Early bird”, “Limited offer”, or a name of your own up to 40 characters.
- When doesn’t it apply? On a “One item” offer that stays on the current checkout page: you can prepare it, but buyers never see it.
All the details
In “The offer sentence”, tap “Launch price” (or “Add a launch price” on a “One item” price page). The price starts that very moment with honest numbers: every price 15% lower, rounded down, for seven days ending at 23:59 Algiers time. The “Content marketing” course at 6,900 DZD therefore starts at 5,800 DZD, and the sentence grows: “Launch price 5,800 DZD until 20 October”. At the top, “Its name on the page”: “Launch price”, “Early bird”, “Limited offer”, or a name of your own (40 characters at most). If an earlier price ended less than 14 days ago, the new one starts once that gap has passed. “Remove the launch price” works as long as it hasn’t started in front of buyers.
On screenLaunch priceAdd a launch priceIts name on the pageEarly birdLimited offerRemove the launch priceHeads-upOn a “One item” offer that stays on the current checkout page (because its item relies on something the engine doesn’t cover, or because the Dirassa+ team paused your workspace) you read: “This item sells today through the current checkout page, which does not know launch prices. The price applies once the offer engine sells it.”. You can prepare it, but buyers don’t get it while it stays on that page.
- Step 2 of 6
Prices, dates and the cap
You set the launch price for every option of the offer, when it starts and ends, and for how many buyers.
- Which price is accepted?Only one below the usual price; anything else is refused. Under each field, “instead of 6,900 DZD”.
- How long24 hours to 90 days, in Algiers time, with 3, 7, 14 and 30-day shortcuts.
- For how many buyers?Optional: the price ends when real orders reach that number, or on its date, whichever comes first.
Tip“What a buyer sees” shows what the page will say: “Launch price ends in 3 days · then 6,900 DZD · for the first 20”, with the usual price struck beside it, because that is the price that really comes back.
All the details
Every option of the offer has a field: “Launch price” for an item or a bundle, “Price for all during the launch” and “Pick price during the launch” in “Pick what fits” and “Build your bundle”, each tier’s name, “Step × 2” for quantities. Under each, “instead of 6,900 DZD”; a price that isn’t lower is refused: “Must be below the usual price.”. Then “Starts” and “Ends”, “Algiers time”, with quick lengths: 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days. Then “For how many first buyers? (optional)”: “The price ends when real orders reach this number, or on its date, whichever comes first.”, and the sentence says “for the first 20”. Beneath, every rule in one line: 24 hours to 90 days, one extension, never shortened, 14 days between two prices, it lowers a price and never raises it, and at its end the next price shows with its date, never a frozen struck price.

Once it has started
Once it starts and buyers have seen it, the price locks: what you promised them stays.
- What locksThe price and the cap; the end never moves earlier. Only “Ends” accepts a later date.
- ExtendingOnce only, so choose the end date before publishing.
- Between two prices14 days at least. An ended price moves to “Past prices” with its end date.
All the details
A price whose offer is published and whose start has passed has been seen by buyers, so it locks: “This price has started and buyers have seen it: it can be extended once, never shortened, and its price and cap stay.”. The fields turn read-only; only “Ends” accepts a later date. After an extension: “Extended until 27 October; it will not be extended again.”, and the card says “extended once”. When it ends it moves to “Past prices” with its name and end date, and no new one starts within 14 days: “A launch price cannot start now: at least 14 days between two prices.”. While it runs, the card says “12 left at this price” when it has a cap; before it starts, “Launch price starts …: 5,800 DZD”.

Think about the end date before publishing, and don’t make “last chance” a habit: buyers see the real date.
- Step 4 of 6
Limited seats
You set the number of seats once; the platform counts them from real orders and tells visitors what is left when the time comes.
- How many seats?1 to 100,000, or 15, 30, 50 or 100 in one tap.
- When does “N left” show? When the cap is 100 or less and 30% or 5 seats remain. With thirty, no number until 9 are left.
- What countsPending orders (48 h), orders under review and paid ones. A rejected or cancelled order frees its seat.
TipIn “Tiers”, each tier has its own “Cap for this tier (optional)”, such as ten one-to-one coaching seats, counted the same way.
All the details
Tap “Limited seats” in the sentence to open “Seats”: type the “Number of seats” (1 to 100,000) or pick 15, 30, 50 or 100 seats, and the sentence says “30 seats at most”. Three rules are written beneath: “Visitors see “N left” only when the cap is 100 or less and 30% or 5 seats remain; before that, no number.”, “Pending orders (48 h), orders under review and paid ones count; a rejected or cancelled order frees its seat.” and “Once full, the button turns into a waiting list by itself.”. With thirty seats, no number shows until 9 remain, then “7 seats left”. Before that the card says “Capped at 30 seats; visitors see what is left once it gets close.”. “No seat cap” removes the limit.

When it’s full: the waiting list
When seats run out you do nothing: the button gathers interested people on its own instead of selling.
- FullThe offer turns “Full” on every page, and the button becomes a waiting list.
- Where do they go?A name-and-phone form that brings them to the follow-up desk.
- A seat frees upA rejected or cancelled order frees its seat, and buying is possible again.
All the details
When orders reach the cap, the offer turns “Full” on every page. Nothing to do: the “Waiting list” works by itself. Open it from the sentence’s information row to see what the button does in each case: “Before opening”: “Notify me when it opens”; “Once full”: “Waiting list: a seat may free up”; “After closing”: “Waiting list for the next round”; “When paused”: “Notify me”. Each time, the button becomes a name-and-phone form, and interested people land in the follow-up desk. If an order is rejected or cancelled, its seat frees up and buying is possible again.

“Preview over time”
You see your page as it will be at every coming moment of the offer, without changing the real page.
- Where is it?The clock button in the showcase editor’s top bar.
- Which moments?Only those your offer reaches: now, the launch price’s start and end, the live, seats running out, closing.
- What changesEach moment has its date and what changes, such as “Price 6,900 DZD” or “Button: waiting list”.
TipBefore launching a campaign, step through every moment: you’ll know what someone opening your link next week will see, not only today.
All the details
In the showcase editor, the clock button in the top bar opens “Preview over time”: “Draws the page as the server will answer at that moment. Nothing changes on the real page.”. Only the moments your offer reaches appear: “Now”, “When registration opens”, “When the launch price starts”, “After the launch price”, “When the live starts”, “After the live”, “When seats run out”, “After closing”; each with its date and what changes, such as “Price 6,900 DZD” or “Button: waiting list”, or “Same offer; only the page’s dates move”. Pick a moment and the page is drawn as it will be, with “Preview: After the launch price” above it, the previous and next moment, and “Back to now”. With no dates or seats it offers “Open “The offer””.

Once the dates are set
Questions
How long does a launch price last?
24 hours to 90 days. It starts for seven days by default; pick 3, 7, 14 or 30 days in one tap, or type the date.
Can I extend it or end it early?
Once it has started in front of buyers it can be extended once only, never shortened, and its price and cap stay. Before it starts you edit or remove it freely.
Why can’t I start a new launch price now?
Because two launch prices need at least 14 days between them, with no overlap. That way a “limited offer” never becomes permanent.
What counts toward the seats?
Orders pending for 48 hours, orders under review and paid orders. A rejected or cancelled order frees its seat.
Why don’t visitors see how many seats are left?
“N left” shows only when the cap is 100 or less and 30% or 5 seats remain. Before that there is no number, so the count is never used to pressure anyone.
What does a buyer see after the launch price?
The next price with its date, never a frozen struck price. And the “Usual price” line shows only under the thirty-day rule: “The lowest price applied in the 30 days before the reduction.”.
Does “Preview over time” change my page?
No. It draws the page in the editor as the server will answer at that moment; nothing changes on the real page.
