Delivery and carriers: connect, price the wilayas, send, follow the cash and the returns
When a buyer confirms an order, another job begins: a parcel leaves, a tracking number, money that stays at the carrier for a few days, and now and then a parcel that comes back. In “Carriers and rates” you connect your own account at the carrier: the parcel leaves from your dashboard, its tracking number and label come back, its status updates by itself, and the cash the carrier holds is counted for you. In this lesson Hichem Rahmani, a woodworking trainer who sells the “Carving tool kit”, connects his Yalidine account, sets his prices (600 DZD to the door and 400 DZD to the desk in Algiers), sends 12 parcels on a Monday, then collects a parcel a buyer refused in Sétif. The same steps serve a photographer selling framed prints or a fitness coach selling workout notebooks.
- About 15 minutes for the connection, prices and rules, then a few minutes per send
- 9 steps
Who can do it: “Carriers and rates” and “Returns” open with “Store and products” or “Orders and delivery”. Connecting carriers, changing prices and rules, and recording payment statements need “Store and products”; with “Orders and delivery” alone you send orders, print labels, follow parcels and receive returns, and read the rest without changing it.
In 9 steps
- 1“Carriers and rates” in the “Delivery” group: five tabs and one card per carrier, with its state and the cash it holds for you.
- 2“Connect a carrier”: paste your account's keys, pick “Where you ship from”, then “Test the connection” and “Save and enable”; desks and prices import by themselves.
- 3“Prices by wilaya”: the home and desk price for each of the 69 wilayas, imported from your carrier with your margin or flat, and free delivery over an amount.
- 4“Rules”: which carrier for which wilaya, the weight surcharge, the collection fee, the deposit and the block after refusals, the return after failed attempts.
Show all
- 5“Send to the carrier”: a sheet that checks every address against the carrier's own map before anything leaves, for one order or a hundred.
- 6After sending, the tracking numbers come back: print the carrier's label or our fallback labels, 10×15 or A4.
- 7“Parcel tracking”: every parcel's state in our words, with “Call”, “WhatsApp” and “Refresh now”.
- 8“Cash at carriers”: collected, deducted, due, and payment statements matched with your parcels before “Mark as received”.
- 9“Returns”: collect the parcel at the desk, inspect it, and put it back in stock in one press.
Before you start
- An account at a carrier (Yalidine, Guepex, ZR Express, Noest, or a carrier running on EcoTrack) that you can open on a computer to copy its keys.
- Know the wilaya where you hand your parcels to the carrier.
- Your physical products' weights entered, if you want a surcharge on heavy parcels.
- Confirmed orders waiting to be sent (the lesson on orders and the call desk).
- Step 1 of 9
Where delivery lives: “Carriers and rates”
In “Store”, the “Delivery” group has two pages: “Carriers and rates” and “Returns”. The first is titled “Delivery”, with a line of numbers under it: parcels on the way, “… held by carriers” and “…% delivered” over the last 30 days; then five tabs: “Carriers”, “Prices by wilaya”, “Rules”, “Cash at carriers”, “Parcel tracking”. In “Carriers”, one card per carrier: its state (“Connected”, “Not connected” or “Soon”), “On the way”, “Last update” and what it “Holds for you”, with at the bottom how its news reaches us: “Real-time updates” for those that send webhooks (Yalidine and its sister brands, ZR Express) or “Status checked every 30 minutes” (EcoTrack, Noest). EcoTrack is one card for more than twenty carriers (“Pick your carrier, then paste your key:”), Maystro shows “Soon” and can't be connected yet, and the “Own delivery” card (“Your driver or a carrier we don't connect”) is always on. At the bottom, “Latest” for every parcel; at the top, two buttons: “Connect a carrier”, and “Send … confirmed” when confirmed orders are waiting.

Pick “and … more”, then “Another carrier” in the sheet, and type “Your account address there” as you read it in the browser bar when you sign in (it ends with ecotrack.dz).
Heads-upMaystro shows “Soon”: there is no button to connect it yet. If it is your carrier, record its parcels from the order itself with “I sent it myself” (tracking number optional) until it is ready.
- Step 2 of 9
Connect your Yalidine account: two keys, a test, then everything sets itself up
Press “Connect a carrier” then Yalidine, or “Connect …” on its card; at the top of the sheet you choose Yalidine or Yalitec, as both keys work on the same platform. Under “Where to find your keys”, three steps name their menus: sign in on a computer, open Developers then API, copy both keys. Paste the “API ID” and the “API Token”, then pick “Where you ship from”, the wilaya where you hand your parcels to the carrier; Hichem picks 16 · Alger. Press “Test the connection”: nothing is saved, and “Connection works” appears with your account's name there when it has one and the number of your earlier parcels, so you know you connected your own account and not a partner's. Then “Save and enable” (“Connecting and importing…”): the keys are tested again and stored encrypted, and the carrier's wilayas, desks, communes and a first round of its prices are imported; “Make it the default carrier” puts it in charge of every wilaya unless the “Rules” say otherwise. The “… is connected” sheet then lists what was set up on its own: “Ships from …”, “Prices imported” and “… desks shown to buyers” when they pick up at a desk.
On screenConnect a carrierConnect …Where to find your keysAPI IDAPI TokenWhere you ship fromTest the connectionConnection worksStored encrypted; nobody sees them after youMake it the default carrierSave and enable… is connectedPrices importedDoneTipYalidine gives one wilaya's price per request, so the sheet may say part of the wilayas were imported and the rest completes tonight. Don't wait: the rest imports by itself overnight, or press “Continue the import” in “Prices by wilaya”. After connecting, the card's “Settings” hold “Shipping wilaya”, “Refresh desks and prices”, “Change the keys” and “Disconnect”.
Heads-upYalidine only registers webhooks from its own dashboard, so the sheet shows “One last step for real-time updates” with a link and “Copy”. Paste it in their Webhooks and pick the status and payment events, then open the card's “Settings” → “Change the keys” and paste the “Webhook secret (optional)”. Until then the card reads “Checked every 30 minutes until webhooks arrive”; without the secret we check every notification by asking Yalidine itself, and payment statements don't arrive on their own.
- Step 3 of 9
“Prices by wilaya”: what the buyer pays, and what you pay
All 69 wilayas in three areas (“North”, “Highlands”, “South”), each with two prices the buyer pays: “Home” and “Desk”, and under each price “your cost …”: what your carrier charges you, as we imported it; beside them the “Carrier” that delivers there by your rules, the “Time” and the “On” switch. In “Price source”, pick “Import your carriers' prices” and type “Your margin over the carrier's price” (“DZD per parcel”), then “Import now”; or “One flat price” for home and desk, then “Apply to all 69 wilayas”. Hichem adds a 50 DZD margin: his cost in Algiers is 550 and 350, so his buyer pays 600 DZD to the door and 400 DZD to the desk. Change any cell by hand (from 0 to 20,000), or a whole area with “Edit all”, then “Save” or “Undo” in the bottom bar. This is the table the order form and the sales pages read; new wilayas show to the buyer under their real name and travel under their parent wilaya at the carrier (“New wilayas”). The older editor, with its templates and bulk actions, still sits behind “Templates and bulk actions”.

It counts the price of what ships in the order, and you pay the carrier's price. For free shipping on other conditions, see the lesson on offers.
Heads-up“Import now” is disabled while the table has unsaved changes: save or undo them first. The import overwrites the price of every wilaya your carrier prices, switches off home or desk where it doesn't offer it, and leaves the wilayas it doesn't price as they are.
- Step 4 of 9
“Rules”: who delivers, who pays, and when to protect yourself
Every rule is a sentence whose words you touch, and it starts from the usual market values. “Which carrier delivers?”: “If the wilaya is in” wilayas chosen in “Pick wilayas” (with “All the south”, “All the highlands” and “All the north”) “send with” a carrier; the “Condition” button adds a line, and “otherwise send with” covers everything else. “Weight” (off to start): a parcel up to 5 kg at its normal price, then 50 DZD per extra kilogram, from your products' weights. “Cash-on-delivery fee”: “I pay it” or “Add it to the delivery price”, with an example on a 9,900 DZD order once we know your carrier's rate. “Deposit”: a buyer who refused a parcel 2 times pays a 500 DZD deposit, and you can ask it of every buyer in chosen wilayas; “Blocked numbers”: a number is blocked automatically after 3 refusals; “Failed attempts”: after 2 failed attempts the carrier is asked to return the parcel. In “Your driver”, his name, phone and the wilayas he “Delivers to”, then “Save” in the bottom bar.
On screenRulesWhich carrier delivers?send withotherwise send withConditionPick wilayasWeightCash-on-delivery feeI pay itAdd it to the delivery priceDepositBlocked numbersFailed attemptsYour driverTipHichem keeps the starting values: one carrier is enough for him. But he adds his driver for Blida, where he delivers himself, so in “Prices by wilaya” Blida shows “Own · your driver” and “your own price”. Someone who doesn't manage the store only reads the rules: “Only store managers can change the rules.”
Heads-upThe return after failed attempts is requested on its own only from EcoTrack and Noest, the only ones that accept it through the connection. With Yalidine and ZR Express the parcel shows in “Needs you” after every failed attempt, and you call the buyer or the carrier yourself. And “Add it to the delivery price” adds nothing until we know the carrier's rate; today only the Yalidine price import brings it.
- Step 5 of 9
Send confirmed orders: every address checked before it leaves
Sending starts where you work: in “Orders”, select the orders marked “Ready to send” and press “Send to the carrier” in the bar, or from a single order, or from the “Call desk” after the call, or with “Send … confirmed” at the top of “Carriers and rates”. One sheet opens for one order or a hundred, on the carrier your rules pick for most of them, with “Your account there · shipping from … · every address checked” under its title. Every order is checked against the carrier's own map: “Ready”, or a switch from home to desk where home delivery isn't offered, or “… desks in this wilaya · pick one” with the nearest preselected, or a commune they spell differently, to pick in “Commune at the carrier”, or “Buyer flagged: …”. What doesn't fit stays and isn't sent (“Not confirmed yet”, “Invalid phone number”, “The carrier does not deliver to this wilaya”…). At the bottom, “Estimated … fees: …”, deducted from what it collects for you, and the total to collect on delivery. Hichem selects his twelve orders on Monday morning, accepts the desk suggested in Oran and presses “Confirm desks and send …”.
On screenOrdersReady to sendSend to the carrierCall deskSend … confirmedReady… desks in this wilaya · pick onenearestCommune at the carrierBuyer flagged: …Estimated … fees: …Send …Confirm desks and send …CancelTipThe sheet sends with one carrier at a time. At its top you switch carrier (including “Own” for your driver) and the checks run again; what it doesn't serve waits for another send. With “Own”, the orders go on the way without a tracking number. And with EcoTrack and Noest the parcel is handed over at once while “Hand the parcel over at once (no draft)” is on in its settings, which it is to start.
Heads-up“Buyer flagged: …” is a warning, not a block: the order leaves if you press. A buyer who refused before or owes a deposit, call them before the parcel leaves.
- Step 6 of 9
Tracking numbers and labels
After sending, the sheet reads “… orders sent to …”: the tracking numbers came back, the orders went on the way, and we follow them from now on. The table gives “Buyer”, “Tracking” and “Cash on delivery” for every parcel, and what wasn't sent shows in red with its reason. Pick the “Label size”: “Thermal label 10×15” (“One label per parcel”) or “A4 sheet” (“4 labels per page · any printer”), then “Print the label” (or “Print … labels” for several parcels): for one parcel the carrier's own label opens; for parcels sent together to Yalidine, its file holding them all opens. “Our labels (fallback)” opens our own labels page: “Sender”, “Recipient”, “Cash on delivery”, “Content”, “Weight” and “Order”, with a barcode of the tracking number; its “Print” button prints the labels alone, without the dashboard, and the size switches between “10×15” and “A4”. For several parcels at another carrier, our labels open, with “If the carrier wants its own label, print it here for each parcel:” above them.

With no label printer, pick “A4 sheet” and cut the four apart.
Heads-upIf “The carrier created parcel … but we could not record it · do not send it again” appears, the parcel exists at the carrier with its number: don't send the order again, or it would have a second parcel.
- Step 7 of 9
“Parcel tracking”: every parcel in our words
In “Parcel tracking”, five filters: “On the way”, “Needs you”, “Delivered”, “Returns” and “All”, and a search for “Tracking, order, name or phone…”. Every parcel carries its state on our side (“Created”, “Picked up”, “Out for delivery”, “Failed attempt”, “Delivered”…) with the carrier's word beside it as it arrived, and the “Carrier words → ours” table shows how we read Yalidine, EcoTrack and Noest statuses; a status we don't know shows as it is and changes nothing. Open a parcel: first “Call” and “WhatsApp”, because a failed attempt is solved by a call, not by reading the log, then “Label” and “Refresh now”. Below, “Buyer”, “To” and “Collects”, then “Parcel path” (“Real-time from …” or “… is checked every 30 minutes”) and “…'s record in your store” with past orders and refusals. When the Sétif parcel turned to “Failed attempt”, Hichem called Soumia from here: she no longer wanted it.

Heads-up“Cancel the parcel” shows while the parcel is “Created” and the carrier hasn't picked it up: the order is ready to send again. After that: “The parcel can't be cancelled once the carrier has it. Request a return.”. And “Request return” exists with EcoTrack and Noest only; with the others, call the carrier.
- Step 8 of 9
“Cash at carriers”: what each holds, what it deducted, when it reached you
Cash-on-delivery money goes from the carrier straight to your account and never passes through Dirassa Plus: here we only count it. At the top, four boxes in the order the money travels: “With buyers · not collected”, “Collected at carriers”, “In a statement”, and “Received …” over “This week” or “This month”. Then one line per carrier: “Collected from buyers”, “Deducted” (delivery, returns, collection), “Net due” and “Delivered, not paid”. After Hichem's week: 11 parcels delivered, Yalidine collected 52,800 DZD and deducted 6,450 DZD, so the net is 46,350 DZD. Under “Carrier payment statements”, every statement is matched with your parcels: “The total matches your parcels”, or “… off from your parcels” or parcels listed but not delivered on our side, with “Doesn't match”. When the transfer has really arrived, press “Mark as received” then “I received …”; “Export for the accountant” downloads statements and balances in a file Excel opens.

For the others, press “Add a statement” when their statement reaches you: “Carrier”, “Statement number”, “Collected”, “Deductions”, “Net” and the “Tracking numbers in the statement” as they are, then “Save the statement”; we match it with your parcels and tell you if it doesn't add up. Your driver's cash shows on his line, “with the driver”.
Heads-up“Mark as received” is your call: don't press it before you see the transfer in your account. It needs “Store and products”, like “Add a statement”.
- Step 9 of 9
“Returns”: collect the parcel, inspect it, put it back in stock
A parcel that was not taken goes back to the carrier's desk, and you must collect it. In “Returns” (the “Delivery” group), three stages: “At the desk”, “On its way back” and “Closed”, and four figures: “Waiting for pickup”, “Return cost · this month” (outbound delivery + return fees), “Return rate · 30 days” with the south's, and “Claim from the carrier”. The Sétif parcel shows with “The carrier's reason as received” and its cost: “Outbound delivery · not collected” 700 DZD, “Return fee · …” 250 DZD, so a “Cost of this return” of 950 DZD. When Hichem collects it at the desk, he opens the kit under “Inspect the item”: “Intact” then “Put back in stock”, and stock comes back as the line “Stock: … → … after the return” says; or “Damaged” then “Collected · not back in stock”. Next to them, “Resend as a new parcel” starts a new order with the same content, with “Call” and “Message”.

If the carrier is at fault (a damaged parcel, an address they misread), press “Not their fault · remove the flag”: the parcel becomes “Damaged or mishandled by the carrier · not counted against the buyer”, and the amount to claim from the carrier shows.
Heads-upStock doesn't come back on its own when the parcel returns: only when you press “Put back in stock”. So don't leave returns at the desk; “At the desk for … days” reminds you how old each one is.

Questions
Does cash-on-delivery money go through Dirassa Plus?
No. The carrier transfers what it collected to your own account there, under your contract and your prices, and we take nothing from it. “Cash at carriers” only counts it for you: collected, deducted, remaining, received.
My carrier isn't in the list, how do I send with it?
If it runs on EcoTrack, pick it on the EcoTrack card, or “Another carrier” and type your account address there. Otherwise pick “Own” in the send sheet, or “I sent it myself” from the order with an optional tracking number, then mark the parcel “Delivered” when the cash reaches you. Maystro shows “Soon” and can't be connected yet.
Why doesn't the parcel's status change right away?
Yalidine, its sister brands and ZR Express send their webhooks at once (Yalidine after you paste the webhook link in its dashboard); EcoTrack and Noest send none, so we ask them about every parcel on the way every 30 minutes. You can always press “Refresh now” in the parcel.
How do I change a carrier's keys or disconnect it?
Press “Settings” on its card: “Change the keys” reopens the connection sheet (“Leave empty to keep the current key”), “Refresh desks and prices” runs the import again, and “Disconnect” then “Confirm disconnect” deletes the keys and the imported prices; your orders and their parcels stay. An account that still has parcels on the way can't be disconnected.
What happens when the buyer refuses the parcel?
The parcel goes back to the carrier's desk and shows in “Returns”. The refusal counts against the buyer: with the starting values of the “Rules”, a deposit is asked from the second refusal and the number is blocked at the third, unless you mark the carrier as at fault. Stock comes back when you collect the parcel and press “Put back in stock”.
Do I have to import the carrier's prices?
No. Pick “One flat price” for home and desk, or type each wilaya's price by hand. As long as your carrier is connected, “your cost …” stays under every price, so you see what you earn or lose in each wilaya.
Can I work with two carriers?
Yes. Connect both, and say in the “Rules” which carrier delivers which wilayas (for example “All the south” with ZR Express), the other in “otherwise send with”. The send sheet goes with one carrier at a time, which you switch at its top.
