Track all your students and manage their accounts on Dirassa+
The Students page gathers every student in your school, from every course, in one table, under a card that tells you how many places are left in your plan and who needs a follow-up now. From it you add students, search, filter and export, and you open any student in a popup to message them, extend their subscription, move them or suspend their account. Every button is explained here, along with what a student sees when they join you.
- About 9 minutes
- 9 steps
Who can do it: Opening the page needs “View students”; enrolling, changing courses and extending need “Enrolments and groups”; suspending or reactivating an account needs “Manage student accounts”; amounts and payments show to people with “View payments”.
In 9 steps
- 1Open Students from the “Academy” panel: places, who “Needs follow-up”, and the table of all your students.
- 2“Add student” opens a popup with three paths: an existing account, activation codes, or a pasted list of emails.
- 3Search by name, phone or email, and filter with “Course”, “Subscription” and “More filters”.
- 4Six columns, the rest under “Columns”; sort with a click, and select students to export or suspend them together.
Show all
- 5Click a student and they open in a popup: WhatsApp, call, extend and suspend at the top, their progress in “Overview”.
- 6In “Courses”: enroll them with cash collected, change status, group or expiry, or move them after a confirmation.
- 7In “Settings”: contact details, extending time-limited subscriptions, and unenrolling from every course.
- 8A student arrives with an account made on your school’s address, then buys, redeems a code or enrolls for free.
- 9Message your students from Student notifications: everyone, a course or a group.
Before you start
- At least one course in your school, so your students have something to enroll in.
- The “View students” permission, plus “Enrolments and groups” to enroll and make changes.
- Your course’s groups if you split students up; they are created in the course’s Groups tab.
- The student’s account email if you enroll them yourself; someone without an account gets in with an activation code.
- Step 1 of 9
The Students page at a glance
Open Students from the “Academy” panel beside the column. Under the title is a line such as “48 students · 44 of 150 places”, and beside it three buttons: “Message to students falling behind” asks Noqta to read your students’ progress, say who needs a follow-up, then write them a short message; “Export” downloads a CSV of every student on screen after search and filters; and “Add student”. Below sits one card. One side is “Places”: the places used out of your plan’s limit, with a thin meter, then what is left and what is held, such as “106 left · 3 reserved”, and the “Plan” link. The other side is “Needs follow-up”: four counts, each a button that filters the table to those students: “Idle 14+ days”, “Ending this week”, “Pending payments”, “Not started”. Press the same count again to clear it.
On screenStudentsMessage to students falling behindExportAdd studentPlacesPlanNeeds follow-upIdle 14+ daysEnding this weekPending paymentsNot startedTip“Idle 14+ days” is someone with an open course and no activity for two weeks; “Ending this week” is someone whose nearest subscription ends within 7 days; “Not started” is someone with an open course who hasn’t completed a lesson. Example: press “Ending this week”, then “Export”, and you have the list of students to call about renewing.
Heads-upThe “Needs follow-up” counts cover all your students, not just what a search leaves. “Pending payments” shows only with “View payments”. The meter takes a warning colour from 80% of the limit, and turns red when no place is left.
- Step 2 of 9
“Add student”: three paths
“Add student” opens a popup in the middle of the screen, with three paths at the top. “Existing account”: type the “Student's account email”, choose the “Course” and the “Group” if it has groups, then “Enroll”. “Activation codes”: a card with a code for a course that you send your student on WhatsApp; they activate it themselves and are enrolled; “Sell them a card” opens “Sell a card” in “Sales” → “Cards”. “List”: paste the “Email addresses” as they are, one per line, a table or plain text; the popup counts them, such as “3 addresses”, then choose the course and press “Enroll 3 students”. Under the list, each address gets its result: “Enrolled”, “Already enrolled” or “No account”. If a “Course” is chosen in the filters, the popup opens on it.
On screenAdd studentExisting accountStudent's account emailCourseGroupEnrollActivation codesSell them a cardListEmail addressesEnroll 3 studentsEnrolledAlready enrolledNo accountTipExample: a class of 30 sent their addresses in a WhatsApp group. Copy all the messages and paste them into “List”: the popup keeps only the addresses. For anyone without an account yet it says “No account” and offers “Activation codes”.
Heads-up“Existing account” and “List” only link accounts that already exist, and need “Enrolments and groups”; “Activation codes” needs the permission of the same name. The list takes 500 addresses at most at a time. While your academy is being prepared or is frozen it takes no new student: the popup says so at the top before you fill anything in, such as “Your academy is being prepared: open it to welcome your students.” with “Open your academy” (or “Renew the subscription” when frozen), and the enrol button stays disabled; someone who doesn’t pay reads that the owner opens it. Either way, while the page has no students, this line replaces the “Create activation codes” button under “No students yet”.
- Step 3 of 9
Search and filters
Type in “Search by name, phone or email…” and the table narrows as you type. Search forgives spelling: “Helene” finds “Hélène”, and in Arabic «احمد» finds «أحمد»; a phone number is typed the way the student said it, “0661 48 20 13” or “+213 661 48 20 13”. Beside it are “Course”, then “Group” once a course with groups is chosen, and “Subscription”: active, suspended, expired, pending. Under “More filters” are four more: “Access”, “Source” (manual, activation code, CCP, BaridiMob…), “Activity” (active in the last 7 days, last active 8–30 days ago, idle for over 30 days, no activity yet) and “Needs follow-up”. Each filter you set shows under the bar in words, with its ×, such as “Course: Mathematics”, then the count, such as “18 of 48 students”, and “Clear filters”.
On screenSearch by name, phone or email…CourseGroupSubscriptionMore filtersAccessSourceActivityNeeds follow-upClear filtersFilterFiltersTipExample: “Course” = Mathematics, then “More filters” → “Needs follow-up” = “Ends this week” gives you who to call about renewing in that course; then “Export”. Students whose subscription has already ended are under “Expired subscription”.
Heads-upOn a phone or tablet every filter sits behind the “Filter” button: the “Filters” popup says how many students will show, such as “Show 12 results”. Changing the “Course” clears the “Group”, because groups belong to each course.
- Step 4 of 9
The table: columns, sorting and selection
The table starts with six columns: “Student” (name and phone, with a “Suspended” or “Invited” badge when they aren’t active), “Courses” such as “4 courses · 1 active”, “Progress”, “Last active” such as “3 days ago” or “No activity yet”, “Expires”: the nearest date, “Lifetime” or “Expired”, and “Paid”. The “Columns” button adds what you need: “Groups”, “Exams”, “Pending payments”, “Support”, “Source”, “Email”, “Joined”; your browser remembers the choice, and “Reset to default columns” brings back the six. Click a heading to sort by it, and click again to reverse. Clicking a row opens the student. Tick students and a bar appears, such as “3 students selected”: “Export” for just them, “Reactivate”, “Suspend student” and “Clear selection”.
On screenStudentCoursesProgressLast activeNo activity yetExpiresLifetimePaidColumnsReset to default columnsPer page3 students selectedReactivateSuspend studentConfirm suspendClear selectionTipOn a phone students show as cards: name, course count and last activity, amount paid, progress and end date. The “Select” button puts a box on each card for bulk selection. At the bottom of the table choose 25, 50 or 100 students “Per page”.
Heads-up“Suspend student” in the bar turns into “Confirm suspend”, and that second click closes the ticked accounts across the whole platform. Only people with “Manage student accounts” see it. “Paid” and “Pending payments” show only with “View payments”.
- Step 5 of 9
The student profile, in a popup
Click any student and they open in a popup in the middle of the screen: their name, “Joined …” and last activity, then their status and any pending payments. Right below is what takes a second: “WhatsApp”, their phone number to call and a button to copy it; on the other side “+30 days” extends their time-limited subscriptions by a month and says “Extended”, and “Suspend student” then “Confirm suspend”, or “Reactivate” if they are suspended. Then the sections, in one switcher: “Overview”, “Courses (2)”, “Certificates” for whoever issues them, and “Settings”. “Overview” opens with the progress ring, such as “18 of 30 lessons completed”, then six cards: “Courses” (active of total), “Exams”, “Paid”, “Expires”, “Pending payments” and “Support”; at the bottom, “Progress per course”.
On screenWhatsApp+30 daysExtendedSuspend studentConfirm suspendReactivateOverviewCourses (2)CertificatesSettings18 of 30 lessons completedProgress per courseContact details hidden by the school's rulesTip“WhatsApp” and the phone show when the student’s account has a number; otherwise their email does. In a school whose rules hide contact details, anyone without “See students' phone and e-mail” reads “Contact details hidden by the school's rules” in their place, and “Hidden” in the table and the export.
Heads-up“+30 days” never touches lifetime access or an expired subscription, and shows only with “Enrolments and groups” when the student has a time-limited subscription. “Suspend student” closes their account across the whole platform; to pause one course, use “Status” under “Courses”.
- Step 6 of 9
Courses: enroll, status, group, expiry, move
In “Courses”, the “Add a course” part: choose the course, the group if it has groups, type the cash you received in “Collected (DA)” if you want, then “Enroll”. That amount is recorded as a paid order in the student’s name, so it shows in payments, in “Paid” and in your earnings; leave it empty for a free enrolment. Below is “Enrolled courses (2)”, each with its source, date, progress and four fields: “Status” (active, suspended, expired, pending), “Group”, “Expiry” (clear it for “Lifetime” access) and “Move to”. Status and group save at once, the date when you leave the field. A move asks first, for example: Move the student to “Chemistry — Bac 2026”? Their progress in the current course is erased and the new course starts from the beginning. It happens only with “Confirm move”.
On screenAdd a courseChoose a course…No groupCollected (DA)EnrollEnrolled courses (2)StatusGroupExpiryMove toConfirm moveUnenrollConfirmTipExample: Youcef paid 6,000 DA in cash at your desk for physics: “Add a course” → Physics → “Group A — Saturday evening” → 6000 → “Enroll”. The course opens for him at once and the money enters your books.
Heads-upA move erases their progress in the old course and clears the group, but keeps the status and end date; the list never offers a course they already hold, and a subscription with installments still running can’t move before the last one. “Unenroll” then “Confirm” deletes the enrolment in that course and their progress in it; to pause access for a while, set “Status” to “Suspended”. Without “Enrolments and groups”, group and expiry are read-only.
- Step 7 of 9
Settings: contact, extension, danger zone
The “Settings” section has three parts. “Contact details”: phone and email, each with a copy button, the “Interface language” the student chose, and the “Student ID”. “Extend subscriptions”: “+30 days”, “+90 days” or “+365 days” pushes every time-limited subscription out from its current end date, in one click. And the “Danger zone”: “Unenroll from all courses”, then a confirm button that says how many enrolments go, such as “Confirm removing 2 enrolments”.
On screenContact detailsInterface languageStudent IDExtend subscriptions+30 days+90 days+365 daysDanger zoneUnenroll from all coursesTipExample: Amina paid three more months of mathematics: “+90 days” moves her end from October 27 to January 25, and her lifetime access to physics stays as it is.
Heads-upExtending never touches lifetime access or an expired subscription: give that one a new date under “Courses”. “Unenroll from all courses” erases their progress there, with no undo. Both parts need “Enrolments and groups”.
- Step 8 of 9
How a student reaches you
The student creates their account on your school’s own address: “Full name”, “Email address”, “Phone number (optional)” and “Password”, then confirms their email with a link or a 6-digit code. As long as your school has a published course or home page, they become a member automatically and appear in Students before any course. Without a subscription their home opens on “Hi, Amina” and the “Now” card: “Start your journey” and “See the curriculum, previews and enrollment options.”, with “Browse courses” and “Bought a card? Enter the code” beside it — at an academy with active activation cards, “Activate my card” becomes the orange button: “Got a card from the teacher? Type its code here and your course opens right away.”; next to the card, “Help”: “Book a one-to-one session” and “Contact support”. If they sent a payment receipt, they read “Your order is under review — we’ll let you know as soon as the payment is accepted” there instead, with “View order”. Closed areas say “Active access is required”. They get into a course in four ways: they buy from the checkout page, redeem a card code — they scan its QR, which opens the “Activate your card” page with the code, or type it in the “Activate your card” window from their home or “Have a code?”, then “Activate card” —, choose “Enroll for free” on a free course, or you enroll them. The “Activate your card” page doesn’t make them your student before the card is activated: a wrong code adds no one to Students.

What protects your videos is the student’s name written on them as a watermark, always; and the student can “Sign out everywhere” from their profile.
- Step 9 of 9
Student notifications
From Notifications in the “Academy” (or “Community”) panel, open “Student notifications”. At the top are two numbers: how many students installed your platform as an app, and how many receive your push notifications. Choose the “Audience”: “Everyone”, “Course” or “Group”, and you see something like “Will reach 24 students”. Write the “Title” and the “Message”, check the “Preview”, then “Send”. The notification arrives inside the platform for the whole audience, and on the phone of those who installed the app and allowed notifications. Everything you send stays under “Sent”.
On screenNotificationsStudent notificationsAudienceEveryoneCourseGroupTitleMessagePreviewSendSentTipExample: “Tomorrow's class postponed” to “Group A — Saturday evening” alone, without disturbing the rest of the course.
Heads-upSending needs the “Send notifications” permission.

Questions
Can I reset a student’s password?
No. A teacher never sees or changes any student’s password. If a student forgets it, they press “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in page and get a link by email.
How many devices can a student use their account on?
There’s no device limit. Every video always carries the student’s name as a watermark, so whoever films the screen films their name too. And the student can “Sign out everywhere” from their profile.
How do I find who a copied video belongs to?
The watermark writes the student’s name followed by a short code such as “#a1b2c3”. Type that code into the search as it is: its owner shows up alone, even if they changed their name.
How do I export my student list to Excel?
“Export” downloads a CSV of every student on screen after search and filters, or only the ticked ones from the selection bar, and Excel opens it directly, Arabic included. It holds name, phone, email, access, courses, groups, progress, exams, support, expiry, last activity and join date, plus amount paid and pending payments for people with “View payments”.
Where do I see a student’s payments?
In their popup: “Paid” totals what they paid across all courses, and “Pending payments” is what awaits your review. The receipts themselves, to approve or reject, are in Incoming. To see everyone waiting for a review, press “Pending payments” under “Needs follow-up”.
What’s the difference between suspending and unenrolling?
“Suspend student” at the top of their popup closes their account across the whole platform and keeps everything; “Reactivate” restores it as it was. “Suspended” in Status pauses one course only. “Unenroll” deletes the enrolment in that course and their progress in it.
How do I move a student from one course to another?
In their popup’s “Courses”, pick the new course under “Move to” on their enrolment, then “Confirm move”. The enrolment keeps its status and end date, its group is cleared because groups belong to each course, and the new course starts from the beginning: their progress in the old one is erased. The list never offers a course they already hold, and a subscription with installments still running can’t move before the last one.
How many students does my plan allow?
The “Places” card at the top of the page says so, such as “44 of 150”, with what is left and what is held. A student counts once however many courses they take, and an account browsing without active access takes no place; held places wait for a payment being prepared or reviewed, or a card not yet activated. To raise the limit, press “Plan”.
How do I contact a student?
From their popup: “WhatsApp”, their number to call and a button to copy it; Settings lets you copy their phone and email. To message a group or a whole course, use Student notifications; to write to those falling behind, press “Message to students falling behind” and Noqta drafts the message.
