Sales period, refund guarantee and payment methods per offer

A product photographer opens her course at the start of November and closes it at month’s end; a coding trainer promises a refund within 14 days; a calligrapher sells his paper workbook with cash on delivery and his course by CCP transfer only. These are three parts you add to “The offer sentence”: “Sales period”, “Guarantee” and “Payment methods”. The sales period and the guarantee work on every offer and with every checkout page; choosing payment methods works through the “order sheet”, which sells offers by default in every workspace.

  • About 7 minutes
  • 6 steps

Who can do it: People with the “Offers” permission in the workspace. Others only read the sentence.

In 6 steps

  1. 1In the “Add to the sentence” row add “Sales period”, “Guarantee” or “Payment methods”; what works on every checkout page and what belongs to the order sheet is said at the start of the lesson.
  2. 2In “Sales period” switch on “Sales open on a date” and “Sales close on a date”, then set both dates in Algiers time.
  3. 3The page follows the clock: “Notify me” before opening, a waiting list after closing, a countdown in the last 72 hours.
  4. 4In “Refund guarantee” write 1 to 365 days and your conditions in 280 characters; your promise shows in the “Guarantee” section.

  1. 5In “Payment methods” keep one to five of the ready methods and suggest one first.
  2. 6Under “Not ready” read the reason for each missing method and the “Set it up” button that leads to where to fix it.

Before you start

  • A saved offer, whose panel you open from “Offers” (tap its row) or from the “The offer” panel in the showcase editor.
  • “Sales period”, “Guarantee” and seats work on every offer, even when a one-item offer stays on the current checkout page. The chosen “Payment methods”, the launch price and the add-on go through the “order sheet”: bundles, choices and tiers always sell there, and a one-item offer does too as long as its item doesn’t rely on something the engine doesn’t cover.
  • Every date is in Algiers time, whatever your device’s time zone.
  • The payment methods themselves are set up once in the payment settings; this lesson only chooses which of them each offer shows.
  1. Step 1 of 6

Three parts to add to the sentence

When the offer sells, what you promise and how the buyer pays, all set from one row of the offer panel.

    • Where are they?In the “Add to the sentence” row. What you set joins the sentence after a dot; tap it to edit.
    • What always worksSales period, seats and guarantee: the button follows the clock and the “Guarantee” section shows.
    • And payment methods? They go through the “order sheet”. A one-item offer left on the current checkout page ignores them, and “What a buyer sees” says so.

TipPrepare and save all three parts: what does not work on a given checkout page says why, and does not hurt what does.

    All the details

Open an offer from “Offers” (/dashboard/showcases/offers), then in the “Add to the sentence” row tap “Sales period”, “Guarantee” or “Payment methods”. Each button opens its page inside the same panel; what you set joins the sentence after a dot and its button leaves the row: “on sale 1 November to 30 November · 14 days guarantee · paid by CCP transfer, BaridiMob”. From the sentence itself, tap any underlined part to edit it. The sales period, the seats and the guarantee work in every case: the button changes with the clock and the “Guarantee” section shows. The chosen payment methods go through the “order sheet”. A “One item” offer that stays on the current checkout page (because its item relies on something the engine doesn’t cover, or because the Dirassa+ team paused your workspace) doesn’t know this choice, and the “What a buyer sees” card says so: “The launch price, the add-on and the chosen methods do not work on this item’s current checkout page; they work once the offer engine sells it.”.

  2. Step 2 of 6

    “Sales period”

A real sales date that opens and closes your offer by itself, in Algiers time, so the page can honestly count down.

    • Two switches“Sales open on a date” and “Sales close on a date”. Use either or both.
    • Which date is suggested?Opening at the start of tomorrow, closing in 14 days at 23:59. Change them; the end always follows the start.
    • And “Stop the page”?It hides the page without stopping sales. The sales period governs the offer on all its pages.

TipThis is a real sales date, not the page’s display date: “Stop the page” in the page settings hides the page without stopping sales. With a real date the page can honestly count down.

    All the details

Tap “Sales period” to open “Sales period”. It has two independent switches: “Sales open on a date”, before which the page shows “Registration opens on…” and gathers “Notify me”, and “Sales close on a date”, after which the offer closes on all its pages, which gather a waiting list for the next round. Switching one on fills a suggested date, opening at the start of tomorrow and closing in 14 days at 23:59; change it in “Opens” or “Closes”, under which sits “Algiers time”. The end never comes before the start: “Sales must end after they start.”. The sentence reads: “on sale 1 November to 30 November”, “opens 1 November” or “sales close 30 November”.

  3. Step 3 of 6

What a buyer sees before opening and after closing

The button changes by itself with the clock, so no visitor who comes before opening or after closing is lost.

    • Which state?“Opens soon”, then “On sale”, then “Closed”; or “Full” if the seats run out first.
    • Before and afterBefore: “Notify me when it opens”. After: a waiting list for the next round. Names land in the “Follow-up desk”.
    • When does it count down?Only in the last 72 hours before your real date. Before that, “Deadline and seats” writes the date as a sentence.

TipTo see the page after closing without waiting, open “Preview over time” in the editor: it draws the page as the server will answer at that moment.

    All the details

The offer’s state follows the clock; you read it in the “Offers” list and in the “What a buyer sees” card: “Opens soon” before opening, “On sale” between the two dates, “Closed” after closing, and “Full” if the seat cap is reached first. In the “Waiting list” information you see what the button does: “Before opening”: “Notify me when it opens”; “After closing”: “Waiting list for the next round”. The card also says “Registration opens on 1 November.”. Whoever leaves a name and phone lands in the “Follow-up desk”. And the page’s “Deadline and seats” section (the “Countdown” layout) counts down only in the last 72 hours before your real date; before that it writes the date as a sentence.

  4. Step 4 of 6

    “Refund guarantee”

A refund promise in your own words, written as you will apply it, read in the “Guarantee” section and in the order sheet.

    • What you write1 to 365 days and your conditions in 280 characters, for example “Full refund if you watched under 20% of the lessons.”
    • When does it show? When the guarantee has days and a text in the page’s language. Repeat the text in every language you sell in.
    • Who refunds? You do, from the order itself; the system does not refund by itself. Promise only what you apply.
    All the details

Tap “Guarantee” to open “Refund guarantee”, the promise you write as you will apply it. Enter “Refund window in days” from 1 to 365 and the “Its conditions, in your words” field appears (280 characters at most), for example “Full refund if you watched under 20% of the lessons.” One or two lines, and promise only what you apply. The sentence reads “14 days guarantee”. “No guarantee” removes it. The promise shows in the page’s “Guarantee” section with its days and text, and in the order sheet as a “Guarantee: …” line. The text is written in the language of the page you are editing, and the section does not show in a language with no text: repeat it in every language you sell in.

On screenGuaranteeRefund guaranteeRefund window in daysIts conditions, in your wordsNo guarantee

Heads-upThe promise is text you stand behind, and the system does not refund by itself: you carry out the real refund from the order itself. Write what you will actually do.

  5. Step 5 of 6

    “Payment methods”

A paper workbook paid on delivery, a course by CCP transfer only: each offer keeps its own methods among the ones you set up.

    • How many? One to five of the ready methods. By default all are offered, and the ones you set up later join.
    • “Suggest it first”The method becomes “Recommended” and comes first for the buyer.
    • Where does it work?In the “order sheet”. The choice only removes; it never adds a method you have not set up.

TipThe choice never adds a method you have not set up: it only removes. And you cannot keep more than five or fewer than one.

    All the details

This choice works in the “order sheet”; a one-item offer that stays on the current checkout page sells with its methods and ignores it. Tap “Payment methods”: by default every ready method is offered, and the ones you set up later join by themselves. Under “Ready for this offer” each method has a box and a line saying who it serves, “For buyers in Algeria” or “For buyers abroad”. The seven methods: “CCP transfer”, “BaridiMob”, “Edahabia / CIB card”, “Cash on delivery”, “International card (Stripe)”, “PayPal” and “Bank transfer from abroad”. Keep one to five: “Keep at least one method.” and “Five methods at most.”. Beside each kept method, “Suggest it first” becomes “Recommended” and puts it first for the buyer. The sentence reads: “paid by CCP transfer, BaridiMob”. To undo it all: “Back to every ready method”.

  6. Step 6 of 6

Methods that are not ready, and “Set it up”

Each missing method states its reason in plain words, and mostly takes you to where to fix it, in a new tab.

    • What reasons?A method not set up in the payment settings, selling abroad without a foreign currency and international method, or a new offer not saved yet.
    • Cash on delivery“For physical products only.”: it needs a physical product in the offer and a per-wilaya delivery table.
    • No method at all?The offer does not sell: the page shows “Notify me” and gathers interested people with no payment. Set one up before your campaign.
    All the details

Under “Not ready”, each method that cannot be added, with its reason in plain words, and mostly a “Set it up” button that opens where to fix it in a new tab: “Not set up yet in the payment settings.” for CCP, BaridiMob and the card (payment settings), “For physical products only.” for cash on delivery, which needs a physical product in the offer, “Add the per-wilaya delivery table first.” (the delivery table), “To sell abroad: switch on a foreign currency and an international method.” for PayPal and the bank transfer from abroad (international selling settings), and “Save the offer to learn its methods ready abroad.” in a new offer. “Not available on the platform right now.” has no button, because the fix is not on your side. If no method is ready: “No method is ready for this offer yet.”, and under the card in “Honesty notes”: “No payment method is ready for this offer: the page shows “Notify me” until one is set.” with a “Set it” button.

Heads-upAn offer with no ready method does not sell: the page shows “Notify me” and gathers interested people with no payment. Set up at least one method before you launch your campaign.

Questions

Do the sales period and the guarantee work on every checkout page?

Yes: the sales period, the guarantee and the seats are read by the public offer on both routes, so the button changes with the clock and the “Guarantee” section shows. Choosing payment methods, the launch price and the add-on go through the “order sheet”, and don’t work on the current checkout page where a one-item offer stays in rare cases.

What is the difference between “Sales period” and “Stop the page”?

“Sales period” governs the offer itself on all its pages: “Notify me” before opening, a waiting list after closing. “Stop the page”, in the page settings, only hides that page and does not stop the offer from selling.

Why doesn’t the “Guarantee” section show on my page?

Because it shows only when the offer has a guarantee with a number of days and a text written in the language of the page the visitor reads. Write the text in every language you sell in; the section’s panel says whether it is hidden and why.

Does the buyer see the guarantee when paying?

Yes, in the order sheet, as a “Guarantee: …” line. On the page it always shows in the “Guarantee” section once the previous condition is met.

Can I choose cash on delivery for a digital course?

No: the reason reads “For physical products only.”. You need a physical product in the offer and a per-wilaya delivery table, and “Set it up” takes you to the delivery table.

Why do I see the international card or PayPal under “Not ready”?

Because one needs a foreign currency and an international method switched on for your workspace (“switch on a foreign currency and an international method”), or because the platform does not run it yet: “Not available on the platform right now.”.

What happens if I keep two methods, then set up a third?

The third does not join; your choice stays as it is. Only an offer where you chose nothing (the default) takes in everything you set up later.
