Your site’s pages: from “New page” to “Publish”
Every page of your site — home, courses, “About”, “Contact” — lives in the Designer’s “Pages”, laid out as visitors meet it: what’s in the menu, what’s outside it, and the designs that apply to every course or product. From there you open the editor: the page’s sections on one side, the page in the middle, the chosen section’s properties on the other.
- About 8 minutes
- 7 steps
Who can do it: Editing pages needs the permission to edit showcases; publishing them needs the publish permission.
In 7 steps
- 1Read “Pages” in three lanes: “In the menu”, “Outside the menu”, “Automatic designs”.
- 2Click a page to see its sheet: readiness, address, Google and its buttons.
- 3Create a “New page”: with Noqta, from your data, from a template, blank or copied.
- 4Know the editor: “Sections” on one side, the page in the middle, “Properties” on the other, “Publish” on top.
Before you start
- A site in the Designer (if not, the home starts with “What do you teach?”).
- What the page should say: its text, images and who it is for.
- A computer for the full editor (from 1024 pixels wide); the list and sheets work on a phone.
- Step 1 of 7
“Pages” in three lanes
Open “Pages” from “Your site”. At the top, “Search pages” and “New page”. Then three lanes: “In the menu” — pages in the order of your header; press “Reorder”, drag, then done; if the order changed you get “Publish the menu”. “Outside the menu” — pages in the footer or shared by link. “Automatic designs” — one design per kind (course page, product page…) that applies to every item of that kind; a special design can be made for a single item. Some have a fixed core, and only what surrounds it is designed.

- Step 2 of 7
A page’s sheet
Click a page and its sheet opens beside the list: a desktop or phone preview, 7-day visits, readiness, “Page name”, “Address”, how it shows in Google, and what it’s missing. Its buttons: “Edit in the editor”, “Open”, “Publish it”, “Add to the menu” or “Take out of the menu”, “Copy it” and “Archive it” (then confirm). Each page is published, a draft, has unpublished changes, or is scheduled.

“New page”
Press “New page” and a dialog offers five ways in: “Describe the page to Noqta” then “Build it with Noqta” (your request goes to the Noqta chat); “From your data” — ready pages that read your academy: home, courses, store, lives, bookings, teachers, subscriptions, links, blog; “Templates for free pages” — contact, FAQ, results, about, parents’ page, thank you, join our team; “Blank page”; and “Copy an existing page”. Then “Page name”, “Address”, the “Add to the menu” box, and “Create it and open the editor”.

- Step 4 of 7
The editor: the page and one panel beside it
“Edit in the editor” (or “Edit the site” and “Fix” on the home) opens the page in the editor. The top bar: back, the page name and its menu (rename, page settings, versions…), the command field “Type a command or ask Noqta” (⌘K), phone, desktop or both, the language, “Undo” and “Redo”, “Preview” and “Publish”. Below it, two places: the page in the middle, as a visitor sees it, and one panel beside it. With nothing picked, the panel shows “Sections”, numbered, then “Add a section” and the page’s tools. Pick a section and the same panel opens it with its “Content” and “Look” tabs; “Sections” at its top takes you back to the list. Press the site’s header or footer on the page itself to open their settings.

- Step 5 of 7
The picked section’s bar
Click a section on the page and a small bar appears above it: “Previous layout” and “Next layout” flip through its layouts, and the layout’s name opens the “Look” tab. Click a word inside the section to write it in place. The section’s other actions are in ⋯ beside its name in the panel: where it shows, “Duplicate section”, “Add a section after”, “Save to “My sections””, the lock and “Delete section”. The “Add a section” library opens in the middle with every section’s layouts, and you try the section in its place before you keep it. To reorder, drag sections in “Sections”.

- Step 6 of 7
Noqta in the editor
Among the page tools, the “Noqta” button: she designs your page or reviews it as a visitor. “Design my page” reads what you really sell and proposes sections, layouts and rhythm; “Review as a visitor” reads the page with a buyer’s questions before paying. Nothing changes without you seeing it, and one undo removes what she did.

- Step 7 of 7
“My sections”: get a section right once
In the editor, pick a section you got right and press “Save to “My sections””. It appears in the Designer’s “My sections”, with filters for all, linked and independent copies. A linked section is edited once and changes in every page that uses it — “Edit the section” then “Publish everywhere”; a copy stays independent in its page. Each card lists where it appears, with rename and remove.

What comes next
- Publish“Publish” in the editor, or “Publish N changes” on the Designer home.
- Order the menu“In the menu” → “Reorder”, then “Publish the menu”.
- Run a campaignA landing page for one offer, from “Campaigns”.
Questions
Why doesn’t my new page show in the site menu?
It stays a draft until published, and only joins the header if it is “In the menu”: from its sheet, “Add to the menu”, then publish it and publish the menu.
I edited one course page and they all changed
The course page is an automatic design shared by every course. For one course, make it a special design.
Can I use the editor on a phone?
The list and sheets work on a phone; the full three-place editor needs at least 1024 pixels. Campaigns have their own phone editor.
What’s the difference between a linked section and a copy?
A linked section appears in several pages: edit it once, then “Publish everywhere”. A copy is edited alone, in its own page.
Does archiving delete my page?
No. “Archive it” takes it off the site and the menu; it stays saved.
