# Store in the school: your teachers sell in one store, your commission lands in their statements

> In a school where many teachers sell, there is one store: the academy's. The “Store in the school” page decides who sells in it and under whose name, who may sell, who ships, and how much the school takes from each sale, then puts its commission in each teacher's monthly statement. Teachers' products pass your review before buyers see them. In this lesson Mourad Belkacem opens the “Al Ofok Academy” store to his teachers; Samia Ben Amor proposes her printed “Physics summaries”, Mourad reviews and approves them, and we read the school's commission in the month's store lines. The same steps fit a training centre whose trainers sell their templates or sessions.

- Time: About 8 minutes
- Who can do it: The rules change with “Workspace settings” or “Payment settings”; whoever sees payments, reviews courses or decides on requests reads the page only. Teachers' products are reviewed by whoever holds “Store and products” (every teacher), or by whoever reviews courses or decides on requests (the teachers in their scope only). Every teacher holding “Sell their products in the school store” proposes products; the teacher role has it by default.

## In short
1. “Store in the school” in the “Administration” group: four questions, “Preview the store”, and nothing is written before “Save changes”.
2. Who sells: “The school’s store only”, “Teachers’ stores inside the school’s store”, “Both”, or stopping it for teachers.
3. Who may sell: all teachers or the ones you choose, with “Review before publishing” on from the start.
4. Who ships: the school, with a fee per delivered parcel, or each teacher; live sentences say where the money goes.
5. The commission: a default rate, a rate per type, exceptions per teacher; the first save counts from the 1st of this month, every later change from next month.
6. The teacher presses “Send for review” instead of “Publish” and follows the product with “Awaiting the school's review”.
7. “Review teachers’ products”: automatic checks, the split, the preview, then approve, request changes with a note, or reject.
8. “Store lines in the statements”: sales, commission, fees and net per teacher, and the same lines in their monthly statement.

## Before you start
- The school must be switched on: the school store page does not exist before.
- Hold “Workspace settings” or “Payment settings” to change the rules; others read them with the controls disabled.
- The academy's store itself is ready, with a way to deliver if the school will ship: own delivery by default, since connecting a carrier in “Carriers and rates” is still in beta.

## The steps

### 1. Open “Store in the school”
In “School”, in the “Administration” group, press “Store in the school”. It shows for whoever manages workspace or payment settings, and for whoever reviews courses. Under the title: “Every change to shipping and commission becomes a new version of the teachers’ contracts, starting on the first of next month.”; at the top, “Preview the store” opens the academy's store as buyers see it, in a new tab. For reviewers, the first row is “Review teachers’ products”, with what waits (“… waiting for you” or “Nothing waiting for review”) and the “Open the review” button. Then four questions in order: who sells, who may sell, who ships, how much the school takes; below them, “Where does the money go with these settings?” and “Store lines in the statements”. The first change brings up the “Unsaved changes” bar with two buttons: “Save changes”, and “Undo”, which restores the last save.
On screen: «Store in the school»، «Administration»، «Preview the store»، «Review teachers’ products»، «… waiting for you»، «Open the review»، «Unsaved changes»، «Save changes»، «Undo»
Tip: Whoever reviews courses or sees payments reads the page with the questions disabled: editing belongs to whoever holds “Workspace settings” or “Payment settings”. Without any of these permissions you read “This page is for the school’s management”.
Heads-up: Before the first save you read “The store rules are not saved yet: teachers’ sales count with no commission until you save them.”. The figures shown (15% and 100 DZD) are only a proposal: no commission and no fee before you save.

### 2. “Who sells in the academy’s store?”
Three cards; the saved one carries “Current”. “The school’s store only”: “One store in the academy’s name. Teachers propose products; they are sold under the school’s name.”; the teacher is not named in the store, the product card carries the academy's name, and the commission is still counted on her sales. “Teachers’ stores inside the school’s store”: each teacher has a corner in their name, and the school “sells nothing itself”: its own products do not show. “Both” (selected before the first save): the school sells its products, and each teacher has a corner in the same store. In these last two, buyers find a “From our teachers” row with their names and a link to each one's page in the store. Mourad picks “The school’s store only”: everything sells under “Al Ofok Academy”, Samia's summaries included. The mode decides what is shown and under whose name; who ships and who collects is the third question.
On screen: «Who sells in the academy’s store?»، «The school’s store only»، «Teachers’ stores inside the school’s store»، «Both»، «Current»، «or stop the store in the school»، «Open it again»
Tip: “or stop the store in the school”, beside the question, shows “The store is stopped in the school: no teacher sells in it.”: teachers' products leave the store, the school's own stay. “Open it again” brings you back to “Both”, so pick the mode again before saving.
Heads-up: The mode, who may sell and the review apply the moment you save, without waiting for the 1st: with “Teachers’ stores inside the school’s store”, the school's own products leave the store at once.

### 3. “Who may sell?” and “Review before publishing”
Choose “All teachers” or “Teachers I choose”; with the second, the names of those holding “Sell their products in the school store” appear and you tick yours, with how many you chose out of all teachers below. The teacher role has this permission by default; if nobody appears you read “No teacher has the selling permission yet.”. Products of anyone outside the list do not show in the store. Then the “Review before publishing” switch (“Every new product from a teacher passes by you before buyers see it.”), on from the start: every publish a teacher asks for becomes a review request, and the product only shows after “Approve and publish”. For whoever manages the store, the “Products” list gains the “Seller” column and the “Awaiting review · …” filter. Mourad keeps “All teachers” and the review on.
On screen: «Who may sell?»، «All teachers»، «Teachers I choose»، «Sell their products in the school store»، «Review before publishing»، «Seller»، «Awaiting review · …»
Tip: Switched “Review before publishing” off? The teacher's button becomes “Publish” and the product shows in the store at once. Keep it on at least for the first months: the store carries the academy's name.
Heads-up: The list decides whose products show in the store, not who sees “Store” in their column: it stays visible to anyone holding “Sell their products in the school store”. To hide it from a teacher entirely, remove that permission.

### 4. “Who ships physical parcels?” and where the money goes
“The school ships everything with its account” (“One confirmation desk for everyone, one carrier.”), with a “Handling fee per delivered parcel” in dinars: “Taken from the teacher’s net once per parcel. 0 = no fee.” (100 DZD to start, up to 5,000). Or “Each teacher ships with their own account”. Under the questions, the “Where does the money go with these settings?” block, tagged “Dirassa+ takes 0% in every case”; its sentences follow your numbers as you change them. “A school product”: the buyer pays the carrier, and all of it is the school's. “A teacher’s physical product”: the money reaches the school's account, and the teacher gets the net in the monthly statement; with Mourad's rules (10% on physical goods and 100 DZD), a 1,400 DZD sale leaves her 1,160 DZD. “If each teacher ships” (when you choose it): the money reaches the teacher directly, and the commission is recorded as a debt in her statement, taken from her course share (140 DZD on a 1,400 DZD sale). “Digital or a session”: paid by card or BaridiMob to the school, and passed to the teacher as a statement line after her rate: a 1,500 DZD file leaves her 1,200 DZD.
On screen: «Who ships physical parcels?»، «The school ships everything with its account»، «Each teacher ships with their own account»، «Handling fee per delivered parcel»، «Where does the money go with these settings?»، «Dirassa+ takes 0% in every case»، «A school product»، «A teacher’s physical product»، «If each teacher ships»، «Digital or a session»
Tip: The fee is taken once per delivered parcel holding the teacher's goods, however many pieces it holds, and given back if the parcel returns after delivery: the teacher finds the line “Fee of a returned parcel (given back)” in her statement.
Heads-up: As soon as you save “Each teacher ships with their own account”, the teacher's screens change: “Orders”, “Call desk”, “Carriers and rates”, “Returns” and “Customers” open for her on her own orders only; she connects her own carrier account, confirms and sends herself. The maths (the commission as a debt in her statement) follows the date the rules take effect. An order mixing her products with someone else's stays “Shared”: the store team confirms it, and it leaves as one parcel per seller. Details in the “The teacher ships herself” lesson.

### 5. “School commission on what was actually delivered”
Under the title: “On the amount after discount and without delivery. No commission on a returned parcel.”. The “Default rate” (15% to start) applies “For every type without its own rate.”, then “By product type”: “Digital”, “Physical” and “Sessions and services”, with “Other types (packs, subscriptions, cards…)” revealing the rest; “Empty = the default rate.”. Mourad puts 10% on “Physical”, since Samia pays for the printing, and 20% on “Digital”. Then “Exceptions for a teacher” and “Add an exception”: the “Exception for a teacher” panel (“Like a launch deal, or a flat amount per piece instead of a percent.”) with “Teacher”, “On which type” (“everything” or one type), “Commission shape”: “Percent” or “Per piece” (“Never more than the line itself.”), “Until” (“Empty = no end. Afterwards the general rates apply on their own.”) and “Note”, then “Done”. For Nadia Meziani: “5% on everything” until 31 December, with the note “Launch deal”. The order: the teacher's exception for this type, then her exception on “everything”, then the type's rate, then the default rate.
On screen: «School commission on what was actually delivered»، «Default rate»، «By product type»، «Other types (packs, subscriptions, cards…)»، «Exceptions for a teacher»، «Add an exception»، «Exception for a teacher»، «On which type»، «Commission shape»، «Percent»، «Per piece»، «Until»، «Note»، «Done»
Tip: The first save applies from the 1st of the current month: Mourad saves on 12 October, so the commission covers all of October's sales, and he reads “Rules in force since 1 October · version 1.”. After that, any change to shipping, the fee or the commission applies from the 1st of next month: “Applies from 1 November · version 2 of the teachers’ contracts. The current month keeps the current rules.”, then “Saved. The new commission applies from 1 November”. A past month is always computed with the rules it was lived under.
Heads-up: A change to the store commission sends teachers no notification and shows neither in “Contracts and commissions” nor in “My contract and earnings”: tell them yourself before the 1st.

### 6. Samia proposes her “Physics summaries”
In Samia's column “Store” appears, because she holds “Sell their products in the school store”; in it are “Home” (the figures of her own lines only), “Products” and “Packs”, without “Store settings”. She also sees “Orders”, “Call desk”, “Carriers and rates”, “Returns” and “Customers”: when the school ships, these pages tell her “Your school handles your orders”; when each teacher ships, she works her own orders there. In “Products” she sees only her own products. She creates “Physics summaries”, a physical product at 1,600 DZD; once its checklist is complete her main button becomes “Send for review” instead of “Publish”, which opens the “Send «…» for review?” panel and its “Send for review” button, then she reads “Sent for review. It appears in the store once the school approves it.”. The product carries the “Awaiting the school's review” tag. If changes are requested she reads in “Status and visibility”: “The school asked for changes” and the reviewer's note as written; she fixes it and presses “Send for review” again. If it is rejected: “Rejected by the school”. Each decision reaches her as a notification.
On screen: «Store»، «Home»، «Products»، «Packs»، «Send for review»، «Send «…» for review?»، «Sent for review. It appears in the store once the school approves it.»، «Awaiting the school's review»، «Status and visibility»، «The school asked for changes»، «Rejected by the school»
Tip: Samia cannot approve her own product whatever she does: approval only comes from the review. If the review is off, her button becomes “Publish” and the product shows at once.
Heads-up: Approval is about publishing: what Samia changes afterwards on a product in the store (price, description, photos) shows directly, with no new review. Publishing a product from a draft, even one approved before, sends it back to review.

### 7. “Review teachers’ products”: open, check, decide
From the “Review teachers’ products” row, press “Open the review”. In the header, “Review courses” leads to the courses inbox: the products queue is separate from it. The “Waiting for your review” list (oldest first), then “Reviewed this month”; each row shows the photo, the name, “Samia Ben Amor · Physical”, the price, and the “New” or “Back after changes” tag. Click it and a panel opens: “Product no. 1”, the photos, “Price”, “Delivery” (“Parcel · shipped by the school”), “Type and commission” (“Physical · 10%”), the description and “Checked automatically”: a phone number or outside link in the description, the uploaded file for digital goods, the cover photo, a zero price, a short description. Then “From one sale at …”: Samia 1,440 DZD, “School” 160 DZD, “Dirassa+” 0 DZD, and “How it shows in the academy’s store”. At the bottom, “Note for … if you request changes” and three buttons: “Approve and publish”, “Request changes with the note”, “Reject”. Mourad approves and reads ““Physics summaries” approved and published”.
On screen: «Review teachers’ products»، «Review courses»، «Waiting for your review»، «Reviewed this month»، «New»، «Back after changes»، «Type and commission»، «Checked automatically»، «From one sale at …»، «How it shows in the academy’s store»، «Note for … if you request changes»، «Approve and publish»، «Request changes with the note»، «Reject»
Tip: Approving publishes the draft now, or on its date if the teacher scheduled it. “Request changes with the note” needs a note (“Write a note so the teacher knows what to change.”), received as written and shown under “Your previous note:” when the product comes back. “Reject” on a product already in the store turns it back into a draft.
Heads-up: The “From one sale at …” bar does not take off the parcel fee: it is a separate line in the statement (100 DZD per delivered parcel at Mourad's). And no notification reaches you when a teacher sends a product, nor is there a 48-hour deadline as for courses: the count shows on the “Review teachers’ products” row.

### 8. “Store lines in the statements”: the commission in each teacher's statement
For whoever sees the money, the bottom of the page holds “Store lines in the statements”; on 31 October Mourad reads “October 2026 · open, only what was delivered counts”, with “Previous month” to go back. Four figures: “Teachers’ sales” 20,800 DZD, “School commission” 2,080 DZD (“10% on average”), “Parcel handling fees” 1,300 DZD and “Teachers’ net” 17,420 DZD (“Goes into their monthly statements”). Then one row per teacher: “Sales” 22,400 DZD, “Returned (no commission)” (one parcel, 1,600 DZD), “Commission”, “Parcel fees”, “Net owed” and “Statement” (“Open”, or its number once closed). Click Samia's row and her product appears: “Physics summaries”, 13 sold for 20,800 DZD, at 10%, so 2,080 DZD of commission, then “Open the statement”. At the bottom, “What the school gets from the store: …”: 9,380 DZD, made of its own sales (6,000 DZD), the commission (2,080 DZD) and the parcel fees (1,300 DZD). Samia reads the same lines in her statement under “Store sales”: for each parcel, a line with the product name, “sold …” and “commission …”, plus a “Parcel handling fee” line; her net is added to her share whatever her contract model.
On screen: «Store lines in the statements»، «Previous month»، «Teachers’ sales»، «School commission»، «Parcel handling fees»، «Teachers’ net»، «Returned (no commission)»، «Net owed»، «Statement»، «Open the statement»، «Store sales»، «Parcel handling fee»، «cashed by you»
Tip: A parcel counts on the day it is delivered, a digital product on the day it is paid and handed over. A parcel refused at the door never counts; a parcel returned after delivery has its sales and commission taken back on the day it returns, and its fee given back.
Heads-up: “On closing, the numbers are frozen in the statement, and a teacher can dispute any line of theirs.” When a teacher ships herself and collects at the door, you read “… cashed by the teacher directly: its commission is a debt in their statement.”, and she reads “cashed by you”: from that sale only the commission comes to the school, taken from her share.

## Next
- Add a product: The type, photos, price and pre-publishing checklist, as Samia lives them in “Products”.
- Delivery: The rates per wilaya, own delivery or a connected carrier (beta), so the school ships its teachers' parcels.
- The teacher's statement: What Samia reads in “My contract and earnings” and her monthly statement, and how to dispute a line: the “My contract and earnings” lesson.
- The course commission: The commission on courses is written in each teacher's contract, separate from the store's: the “Contracts and commissions” lesson.
- The teacher ships herself: When you choose “Each teacher ships with their own account”: her carrier account, her orders and desk, shared orders, one parcel per seller.

## Questions

**Does Dirassa+ take anything from store sales?**
No. Dirassa+ takes 0% in every case: what the buyer pays is split between the school and the teacher only, with the school's commission and the parcel fee if there is one.

**When does a new commission apply?**
The first save of the store rules applies from the 1st of the current month. After that, any change to who ships, the parcel fee or the commission applies from the 1st of next month, and the current month keeps the current rules. A change not yet in force is replaced if you save another. The mode, who may sell and the review apply the moment you save.

**What happens to the commission on a returned parcel?**
No commission on a returned parcel. The parcel counts on the day it is delivered; if it comes back afterwards, its sales and commission are taken back on the day it returns and its handling fee is given back. A parcel refused at the door never counts. You see it in the “Returned (no commission)” column.

**Does the teacher see the orders for her products and ship them herself?**
It follows your answer to “Who ships physical parcels?”. With “The school ships everything with its account”, she reads “Your school handles your orders” in “Orders” and the pages next to it, and the store team confirms and sends. With “Each teacher ships with their own account”, she sees only her orders and her share, connects her carrier account, and confirms and sends her parcel herself; an order shared with others is confirmed by the store team. See the “The teacher ships herself” lesson.

**Does every edit to an approved product go back to review?**
No. Approval is about publishing: what the teacher changes on a product in the store shows directly. Publishing a product from a draft, even one approved before, sends it back to review.

**Is the store commission part of the teacher's contract?**
No. The course commission lives in “Contracts and commissions”, the store's in “Store in the school”. The net of store sales is added to the teacher's share in her monthly statement whatever her contract model, even a salary. And a store commission change sends teachers no notification.

**Who reviews teachers' products?**
Whoever holds “Store and products” reviews every teacher's products; whoever reviews courses or decides on requests reviews those of the teachers in their scope, such as a department supervisor. This queue is separate from “Reviews and requests”, with no 48-hour deadline and no notification when a product arrives.
