# Open your store: from the first page to “Store settings”

> “Store” is its own section of your dashboard for selling everything that isn’t a course: books and planners shipped and paid on delivery, digital files paid upfront and handed over once the payment is approved, packs, subscriptions and cards. Opening it takes two pages: “Home” walks you through four steps, and “Store settings” sets, once, the opening, how people buy, payment methods, order numbers, alerts, pixels and policies. In this lesson Yasmine Kaci, a graphic designer, opens “Yasmine’s Store” to sell printed planners at 1,600 DZD, delivered and paid in cash on delivery, and digital Canva templates paid by BaridiMob receipt. The same steps serve a photographer selling Lightroom presets or a trainer selling their book.

- Time: About 10 minutes
- Who can do it: “Store settings” and the buttons of “Open your store” need “Store and products” (the owner has it). “Home” also opens to “Orders and delivery”, and a school teacher with “Sell their products in the school store” sees only their own lines there.

## In short
1. “Store” is a section of the column, under “Organization”, with a panel in four groups: “Today”, “Catalogue”, “Delivery”, “People and numbers”.
2. The first time, “Home” opens on “Open your store”: four steps, and the type of your first product out of eight.
3. In “Store settings”, open the store to visitors, type the “Store name”, and keep “Order now” and “Cart”.
4. “Payment methods”: cash on delivery for the parcel, “BaridiMob / CCP with a receipt” for what is paid upfront, to your academy’s one account, cards once your gateway is connected.
5. “Order number” with your prefix, and a “Phone notification” for every new order, plus email and Telegram if you like.
6. “Tracking pixels”: the site’s pixels or the store’s own, and when Purchase is sent.
7. “Policies” written automatically from the exchange period and your carriers, then “Save”.
8. Once orders arrive, “Home” shows the period’s numbers and “Waiting for you”, ordered by what waiting costs you.

## Before you start
- The “Store and products” permission, or being the space’s owner.
- Your postal account entered in “Sales” → “Payment methods” if you sell what is paid upfront by receipt: the holder’s exact name, and the 20-digit BaridiMob RIP or the CCP number and its key. It is one account for courses, the store and bookings.
- An idea of what you sell first: something shipped and paid on delivery, a digital file paid upfront, or both, like Yasmine.

## The steps

### 1. Where “Store” lives: the column and its panel
“Store” is its own section in the column at the edge of the screen, right under “Organization”, because selling is daily work: calls, parcels, returns. It shows for anyone with “Store and products” or “Orders and delivery”, and for a school teacher with “Sell their products in the school store”. The number on its icon doesn’t count every order, only what waits for a person: orders not yet confirmed by phone, receipts not yet reviewed, confirmed parcels not yet handed to a carrier, returns not yet picked up. Next to the column, its panel in four groups: “Today” (“Home”, “Orders”, “Call desk”), “Catalogue” (“Products”, “Packs”, “Offers and discounts”, “Coupons”, “Digital protection”), “Delivery” (“Carriers and rates”, “Returns”) and “People and numbers” (“Customers”, “Reports”, “Appearance”, “Store settings”). Each page shows only to whoever has its permission: settings, appearance, reports, offers and coupons are for “Store and products” alone.
On screen: «Store»، «Organization»، «Today»، «Home»، «Orders»، «Call desk»، «Catalogue»، «Products»، «Delivery»، «Carriers and rates»، «People and numbers»، «Store settings»
Tip: Yasmine works alone, so she sees every page. If she later adds someone to call customers and send parcels, she gives them “Orders and delivery”: they see “Today”, “Delivery” and “Customers”, without settings or offers.

### 2. The first time: “Open your store” in four steps
While the store has no product, or is closed and has had no order, “Home” opens on “Open your store” instead of an empty board: “Four steps. The store opens after the second; the rest has ready values you can change any time.”. Step 1, “Store name and opening”: its “Start” button takes you to “Store settings”, and it’s ticked once the store is open to visitors. Step 2, “What will you sell first?”, with eight types that each open a new product of that type: “Physical product”, “Digital product”, “Pack”, “Monthly subscription”, “Service or session”, “Activation card”, “Course access”, “Gift card”. Steps 3 “Delivery and payment” and 4 “Look” carry “Ready values”: cash on delivery and manual delivery already work, and the store takes your site’s colours. At the bottom, “No commission on your sales. The money reaches you from the customer or the carrier directly.” and the “Add your first product” button; once a product exists and the store is still closed, it becomes “Open the store” and takes you to settings. Yasmine starts with “Physical product” for her “2027 planner”; a finished step shows “Edit”.
On screen: «Open your store»، «Store name and opening»، «Start»، «What will you sell first?»، «Physical product»، «Digital product»، «Delivery and payment»، «Look»، «Ready values»، «Add your first product»، «Open the store»، «Edit»
Tip: “Ready values” means you sell without touching them: with no delivery prices, the buyer reads that the fee is agreed by phone, and you deliver yourself until you connect a carrier in “Carriers and rates”.
Heads-up: The buttons on this page (“Start”, “Edit” and the one at the bottom) are for “Store and products” only. And a school teacher selling their own products never sees “Open your store”: their home shows only their own lines.

### 3. Open the store, name it, and choose how people buy
Open “Store settings” from “People and numbers” (or from “Start” in the first step). At the top: “Applies to the store, its sections on the site and the “Order now” forms on landing pages.” and the “Dirassa+ commission: 0%” badge; until anything has been saved, a note says “The defaults are enough to open the store today…”. The first row is the store’s switch, off at first: “The store is closed” — “Not visible to visitors yet. Open it once your products are ready.”. Turn it on: it becomes “The store is open to visitors” and shows its address: yasmine.dirassaplus.com/store. Below, “Store name”: Yasmine types “Yasmine’s Store”; left empty, it takes the academy’s name. Then “How people buy” (“Both are on by default”): “Order now” — “A direct form on the product page, no account and no cart.” — and “Cart” — “For buying several things · delivery is counted once for the whole parcel.”. Yasmine keeps both: people coming from the planner ad order in one form, people taking a planner and templates use the cart.
On screen: «Store settings»، «Dirassa+ commission: 0%»، «The store is closed»، «The store is open to visitors»، «Store name»، «How people buy»، «Both are on by default»، «Order now»، «Cart»
Tip: While the store is closed, its page on your site says it’s closed and nobody can order, neither in the store nor through “Order now” forms. On “Home” a line reminds you: “Your store is closed to visitors: nobody sees your products yet.”, with “Open it in settings”.
Heads-up: The switch, like everything on the page, only counts after “Save” in the bar that appears at the bottom. And you can’t turn off both ways to buy: “Keep at least one way to buy.”

### 4. Payment methods: the parcel on delivery, digital by receipt
In “Payment methods”, three methods work and a fourth is coming. “Cash on delivery” — “For physical products · collected by the carrier and paid to your account with them.”: the planner at 1,600 DZD is paid at the door. What doesn’t ship, like the Canva templates at 900 DZD, is paid before it opens: “BaridiMob / CCP with a receipt” — “The buyer uploads a photo of the receipt; you approve it in the order itself: Orders → the order → “Review the receipt”.”. Turned on, it shows the line “The account buyers transfer to” under it: your academy’s account as the buyer will read it on their order page, the numbers masked but for their end, like “Yasmine Kaci · CCP ••••5678 · RIP ••••4290”, then “Your academy’s account in “Payment methods”, the same for courses, the store and bookings.”. There are no account fields here: the “Edit the account in Payment methods” button opens “Payment methods” on the account window, and you change it there once for everything you sell. “Edahabia / CIB card”: “Instant card payment — once a payment gateway is connected.”; its switch stays locked until you connect your gateway through “Connect the gateway”, and then digital items open right away. “Wallet balance” carries “Soon”.
On screen: «Payment methods»، «Cash on delivery»، «BaridiMob / CCP with a receipt»، «The account buyers transfer to»، «Edit the account in Payment methods»، «Edahabia / CIB card»، «Connect the gateway»، «Wallet balance»، «Soon»
Tip: An order with a planner and a template splits by itself: the template is paid upfront (receipt or card) and opens once the payment is approved, the planner is paid at the door. And if you turn off “Cash on delivery”, everything is paid upfront, the parcel too.
Heads-up: “BaridiMob / CCP with a receipt” is on at first. If your academy has no account in “Payment methods”, the page says “You haven’t entered your account yet.” then “A buyer who picks the receipt won’t know where to transfer. Enter a CCP or BaridiMob account in “Payment methods”.”, with the “Edit the account in Payment methods” button: enter it, or turn the receipt off if you only sell what ships. Without the “Payment settings” permission it reads “Whoever manages your academy’s payments enters it, in “Payment methods”.”, with no button. Saving is refused if every method is off: “Turn on at least one payment method.”

### 5. The order number, and a notice for every new order
“Order number” — “Shown in messages, labels and invoices.”: the “Prefix”, 1 to 3 capital Latin letters (“A” at first), the “Next number”, which starts at 1001 and moves on by itself, and the “Next order”, showing the number as the buyer will see it. Yasmine types YK: her first order will be #YK-1001. Then “A notice for every new order”: the “Phone notification” is on; it reaches the dashboard installed on your phone, titled New order #YK-1001 with the buyer’s name and the amount, and also when a buyer uploads a receipt to review. “Email” opens the “To” field (your address is already there) and “When”: “Every order” or a “Daily digest” in the morning with yesterday’s orders. The Telegram row asks for the “Bot token (from BotFather)” and the “Group or channel”, with a “Send a test message” button. Email and Telegram step by step: the “Order alerts” lesson.
On screen: «Order number»، «Prefix»، «Next number»، «Next order»، «A notice for every new order»، «Phone notification»، «Email»، «To»، «When»، «Every order»، «Daily digest»، «Bot token (from BotFather)»، «Group or channel»، «Send a test message»
Tip: The switch is for the whole store, not just you: turning it off stops new-order and receipt notifications for everyone with “Store and products” or “Orders and delivery”.
Heads-up: Email and Telegram go out every few minutes, not to the second, and never for an order you add by hand. A new “Prefix” only applies to the next orders: pick it before the first one.

### 6. “Tracking pixels”: ads learn from real orders
“Tracking pixels” — “For your Facebook and TikTok ads”. In “Pixel source”, two choices: “Site pixels” — “The same pixels connected in “Site”, with the Conversions API if it is on.” —, with a Facebook Pixel row and a TikTok Pixel row below, each with its state (“Not connected”, “Connected · server-side too”, “Connected · browser only”), and the “Manage pixels and Conversions API” button to the tracking settings; or “Store-only pixels”, with “Facebook Pixel id” and “TikTok Pixel id”. The “Events sent” are five: PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase. Last, when Purchase is sent: “When the order is confirmed by phone” (“Recommended”) — “So ads learn from real orders, not from clicks.” — or “When the form is sent” — “Faster, but counts orders that will not complete.”. Under the pixels, “Google Sheets sync” carries “Soon”. Yasmine keeps the site pixels: the planner ad and the store are measured by the same pixel.
On screen: «Tracking pixels»، «Pixel source»، «Site pixels»، «Store-only pixels»، «Manage pixels and Conversions API»، «Facebook Pixel id»، «TikTok Pixel id»، «Events sent»، «When the order is confirmed by phone»، «Recommended»، «When the form is sent»، «Google Sheets sync»
Tip: Store-only pixels help when the store runs on another ad account than the academy. But server-side sending uses the tracking settings’ token: it only goes out for a pixel with the same id as the one connected there; any other works in the browser only.
Heads-up: Lead is sent for every new order. With “When the order is confirmed by phone”, Purchase goes out from the server (Conversions API for Facebook, Events API for TikTok) the moment you confirm the order, or when its payment is approved (an accepted receipt or a card), even if the buyer never returns to her page; with “When the form is sent”, it goes out at ordering. It carries the same event id as the browser’s, so it counts once, and nothing is sent for a cancelled or returned order, nor for a visitor who refused cookies. It needs the Conversions API on, with its token, in the tracking settings; watch your events in Events Manager during the first days of a campaign.

### 7. “Policies”, then “Save”
“Policies” — “Written automatically from your settings, unless you edit them”. In “Returns and exchanges”, an “Automatic” badge and a switch, then the “Exchange period”: “No exchange”, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days (7 at first). The automatic text follows the period: “Physical products can be exchanged within 7 days of delivery if they arrive damaged or in the wrong size… Digital files are not refunded after the first download.”. “Delivery” works the same, and its text names the connected carriers, for example “We deliver to 69 wilayas with Yalidine…”. Turn the switch off: the badge becomes “Your own” and the “Returns policy text” or “Delivery policy text” opens for your own words. Buyers read these texts in the product page’s questions, and the period in the trust badge, if you keep them in “Appearance”. Any change brings up “Unsaved changes” at the bottom with “Undo” and “Save”, then “Settings saved”.
On screen: «Policies»، «Returns and exchanges»، «Automatic»، «Exchange period»، «No exchange»، «Delivery»، «Your own»، «Returns policy text»، «Delivery policy text»، «Unsaved changes»، «Undo»، «Save»، «Settings saved»
Tip: The automatic text is written at the moment you save, in your dashboard’s language at that moment. If you connect Yalidine later, the store’s delivery text updates the next time you save the settings.
Heads-up: An empty text of your own blocks saving (“Write the returns policy, or make it automatic again.”). And leaving the page before “Save” loses your changes.

### 8. When orders arrive: “Home”, the day’s work
Once the store is open with a product, “Home” becomes your day’s board: “Good morning” with your first name, the date and the period’s number of orders, the “24 h” / “7 days” / “30 days” switch, the “Open the store” button that opens your store as a visitor sees it in a new tab (on a computer), and “New product”. Four numbers: “Confirmed sales” with the change against the previous period, “New orders” broken down (“12 physical · 6 digital”), “Delivery rate”, and “Held by carriers”: money collected from your customers and not yet paid out to you. Then “Waiting for you”, “Ordered by what waiting costs you”, each row with its button: “5 orders to confirm by phone” and “Start calling”, “1 payment receipt to review” and “Review”, “3 confirmed orders ready to ship” and “Send all”, along with returns, unfinished forms and products almost sold out. Below, “Latest orders”, “Best sellers” and the “Delivery” card.
On screen: «24 h»، «7 days»، «30 days»، «Open the store»، «New product»، «Confirmed sales»، «New orders»، «Delivery rate»، «Held by carriers»، «Waiting for you»، «Start calling»، «Review»، «Send all»، «Latest orders»
Tip: When nothing waits you read “Nothing is waiting for you”; an order that arrived within the hour shows under the numbers (“New order 5 minutes ago”). A school teacher selling their own products sees only their lines, “On the road” instead of “Held by carriers”, and no buttons in “Waiting for you”.
Heads-up: “Send all” opens the carrier send window for every confirmed order at once: check the parcels before you confirm in that window.

## Once the store is open
- Add your first product: Photos, price, stock and publishing: the products lesson.
- Connect a carrier: Yalidine, ZR Express or another, and a price per wilaya: the delivery lesson.
- Sell a digital file: Canva templates paid by receipt and handed to the buyer once the payment is approved: the digital products lesson.
- Your first order: The confirmation call, the receipt review and the send: the orders lesson.

## Questions

**Does Dirassa+ take a commission on store sales?**
No. At the top of “Store settings” a badge reads “Dirassa+ commission: 0%”, and at the bottom: “The store is part of your plan, and cash-on-delivery money goes from the carrier straight to your own account.”. BaridiMob and CCP receipts are paid into your own postal account, and cards go through your own gateway.

**I turned the store on but visitors don’t see it. Why?**
The switch only counts after “Save” in the bar at the bottom of the page: check that “Settings saved” appeared and that the row now reads “The store is open to visitors”. Then check that your product is published: nobody sees a draft.

**Can a buyer pay for the digital template on delivery?**
No. Cash on delivery is for physical products: what doesn’t ship is paid upfront, by BaridiMob / CCP receipt or by card if your gateway is connected, and opens once the payment is approved. In an order with a planner and a template, the template is paid upfront and the planner at the door. Gift cards aren’t a switch here: you sell them as a product type (“Gift card”), and the buyer types the card’s code in the checkout’s code field to use its balance.

**Where do I review the receipt a buyer uploads?**
In the order itself. You get a notification, and “Home” shows the line “1 payment receipt to review”, whose “Review” button opens the order on the receipt. The receipt also reaches “Sales” → “Incoming”, under “Receipts to check”, with those of courses and bookings; its “Check receipt” button opens the same order over the page.

**Where do I enter the account the buyer transfers to?**
In “Sales” → “Payment methods”, not in “Store settings”: one account for your academy, read by the store, courses, bookings and live tickets. In “Store settings” you see it masked under “BaridiMob / CCP with a receipt”, and “Edit the account in Payment methods” opens its window there.

**Do I get an email or a Telegram message for each order?**
Yes, if you turn them on in “A notice for every new order”: “Email” for every order or as a “Daily digest”, and Telegram through your bot into your group. They arrive within minutes, with the number, the buyer’s name, her wilaya, the amount and the order’s link. It is all in the “Order alerts” lesson.

**Where do I choose the order form’s fields and position?**
Not in “Store settings”. The form’s fields (name and phone, wilaya, commune, email…), its position on phones, the trust badges and the product page’s questions are set in “Appearance”, under “People and numbers”.
