# Selling a product or a book from the showcase: from photo to order

> Your product is a parcel that arrives at the buyer’s door, a file to download, or a book whose sample is read before buying. These sections show it as it is with real photos, take the order without an account, and show the buyer the full total (delivery included) before they confirm. All of it works for every workspace with a “single item” offer. Quantity steps, bundles and tiers are sold through the order sheet. Our examples: Imane, a calligrapher selling a practice book, Bilal, a programmer selling a PDF pack, and Nour, a photographer selling prints.

- Time: About 15 minutes
- Who can do it: Anyone allowed to edit showcases, and whoever manages the store to set the delivery fees.

## In short
1. “Product and book”: the product or book as it is, in six layouts: real photos, specs, a sample and the cash-on-delivery line.
2. “Comes with”: up to three real extras for course, space, live and session offers, not for a product or book page.
3. “Order now”: the cash-on-delivery order form, no account, with your questions and a live total.
4. The “Delivery fees” table is set once in the store, a physical product page is not published without it, and the “Delivery and payment” section shows it in five layouts.
5. What the buyer sees: the page, then a form with wilaya and commune, then “Order received” and your call before shipping.

## Before you start
- A product in “Store” with its title and photos, and for a book its author, size, edition, year, page count and version (paper, PDF or both).
- A showcase open in the editor, made from the “product” or “book” recipe, with a “single item” offer.
- Photos of the item itself, never images from the internet. For a book, photos of pages if you want “Read a sample”.
- Your delivery fees per wilaya, or one price for all. You set them in “Store” → “Delivery fees”.

## The steps

### 1. “Product and book”: the product as it is
“Product and book” shows what you sell as it is: real photos, specs, a sample to read and the cash-on-delivery line. What you do not type is read from the product in the store: title, photos, description and, for a book, author, pages, version (“Paper copy”, “PDF copy” or “Paper and PDF”), size, edition and year. In the box beside it: the price (when the offer is “single item”), “Pay on delivery”, “Delivery to 58 wilayas · from 400 DZD” and “We call before shipping”, plus a quiet “Fill in the order form” link that jumps to “Order now”. For a digital product: “Digital product: download once payment is confirmed”. No buy button here. You write the “Heading” and “Intro”, the “Description” (500 characters at most; empty, the store description shows), the “Author” for books, up to 6 “More photos” each with the box “This is a photo of the item itself” (an unticked photo does not show), up to 6 “Specs” with “Name” and “Value” (“Size” → “A5”), up to 10 “Sample pages”, and “Show the price” shows the price beside them. The six layouts: “Stage”, a photo gallery with thumbnails beside the buy box; “Book”, a 2:3 cover with a spine shadow, and with no cover image a drawn cover with its title and author on your brand colour, plus a “Read a sample” button that opens the sample pages; “Still life”, the product on a tinted table, its name and the buy box under it; “Spread”, the sample pages (or photos) on a rail you flip through, then the details; “Spec sheet”, a sheet that starts with the specs beside a smaller photo; and “Gallery”, the photos on a dark panel, one large image its thumbnails switch with a tap (6 photos at most: the store’s, then the confirmed “More photos”), and beside it the name, the price large, your specs (and for a book the pages and version) as tiles, the cash-on-delivery and delivery line, the link to the order form and the description below: pick it when the photos do the selling, like Nour’s prints. “Gallery” has no “Read a sample” button: that lives in “Book” only.
On screen: «Product and book»، «Heading»، «Intro»، «Description»، «Author»، «More photos»، «This is a photo of the item itself»، «Specs»، «Name»، «Value»، «Sample pages»، «Show the price»، «Stage»، «Book»، «Still life»، «Spread»، «Spec sheet»، «Gallery»، «Read a sample»، «Fill in the order form»
Tip: Imane sells the practice book “Ruqʿa calligraphy in 30 days”: she picks “Book” and adds 6 pages from inside, so visitors read a sample before ordering. Nour, for her prints, picks “Still life” for the look of a display table.
Heads-up: Photos show the item itself and never “only a few left” (the checker flags it). Without a product the section does not show: “No product in this offer yet.” with “Add a product”, and the editor says: “A photo stays hidden until you confirm it shows the item itself.”.

### 2. “Comes with”: extras, and where they fit
“Comes with” shows up to three extras the buyer really gets with the offer. It does not fit a product or book page (those two recipes do not accept it): there, put what is added in “Specs”, “More photos” and “Description”. On course, space, live and session pages the platform reads the extras from the offer: a file in the course, an upcoming live session or a course inside the space comes first in your draft, and the extra disappears by itself if its source disappears (“An extra points to something that no longer exists, so it is hidden.”). An extra you write yourself carries “sent by the seller after purchase”. Under “Extras” (up to 3): “Title” and “Short line”. The setting “Standalone value” shows “worth … on its own” only when every extra has a real price it is sold at separately. The six layouts: “List”; “Cards”; “Slab”, a dark slab holding the extras as tiles, like gifts; “Gift tags”, each extra a punched gift tag with a slight turn; “Plus”, the extras stacked under the offer, joined by plus signs; and “Folders”, each extra a folder in the highlight’s warm tint with “Bonus 01”, “Bonus 02”… on its tab, like things to open.
On screen: «Comes with»، «Extras»، «Title»، «Short line»، «Standalone value»، «List»، «Cards»، «Slab»، «Gift tags»، «Plus»، «Folders»
Tip: Bilal sells a “Python templates pack”: the examples file is added as a real extra. On a product page he writes the contents under “Specs”: “In the pack” → “12 templates”.
Heads-up: Do not write a price for an extra: “Standalone value” only shows for a real price. A section without an extra tells you: “Add what the buyer gets with the offer: a file or live from the course, or an extra you write.”.

### 3. “Order now”: the cash-on-delivery order form
“Order now” is the order of the product itself: a form filled with no account, working even before the page has fully loaded. You write the “Heading” and “Intro”, choose the “Button label” between “Order now, pay on delivery” and “Order your copy”, set the “Largest quantity” (“One piece”, “Up to 3” or “Up to 5”), and turn “Ask: home or desk” and “Allow a note” on or off. You add up to 3 “Extra questions” whose answers arrive with the order (size, colour, a dedication): “Question”, “Answer type” (“Short text” or “Pick from a list”), “Choices (comma separated)” and “Answer required”; a choice question needs at least two options to show. The six layouts: “Inline”, the product, its price and its promises on one side, the form on the other; “Sheet”, a summary card with a button that opens the form in a window above the page; “Centred”, one centred card; “Showcase”, a tinted band with the product large and the form on a card over its edge; “Promises”, the promises as large tiles first, then the form across the width; and “With photos”, the product page itself: its store photos, one large image its thumbnails switch with a tap, its name and price under them, the form and its promises beside them on wide screens and after them on phones, for one section that both shows and takes the order. The section only reads “single item” offers: if the offer is quantity steps, tiers or a bundle, it is ordered from “Tiers” through the order sheet and this section disappears: “This offer is ordered from “Tiers” through the order sheet, one price per choice, so the stand-alone order form does not show.”.
On screen: «Order now»، «Heading»، «Intro»، «Button label»، «Largest quantity»، «Ask: home or desk»، «Allow a note»، «Extra questions»، «Question»، «Answer type»، «Choices (comma separated)»، «Answer required»، «Inline»، «Sheet»، «Centred»، «Showcase»، «Promises»، «With photos»
Tip: Nour adds a choice question “Size” with “20×30, 30×45, 40×60”: she knows what each buyer wants before she calls. Imane leaves “Up to 3” for people gifting notebooks.
Heads-up: With no wilaya served by the delivery table the form accepts no order. Do not write “only 3 left” or another price in any text: the live total comes from the offer and the delivery table.

### 4. The delivery table: no publishing a physical product without it
A physical product page is not published without the delivery table, so the buyer sees the full total before confirming and has no surprise on delivery. Otherwise the checker blocks in red: “Set delivery fees per wilaya before publishing, so buyers see the full total before confirming.” with the “Set delivery fees” button, and if the table serves no wilaya: “The delivery table serves no wilaya yet, so nobody can order.”. You open it from “Store” → “Delivery fees” and start from one of three options: “Start from suggested values” (approximate prices for a small parcel that rise with distance from your wilaya; it asks “Where do you ship from?” and offers “Moderate ladder”, “Economy ladder”, “My wilaya only” and “One price”; it is no courier’s official tariff, so check it against your contract), “One price for every wilaya” or “Start empty”. Each wilaya has two prices: “To the door” and “Pickup desk”, empty = not offered, 0 = free. You save time with “+50 DZD everywhere”, “−50 DZD everywhere”, “No delivery to the South” and “No delivery desk”, search a wilaya by name or number, test with “Try it as a buyer”, and under “What the buyer sees” you read the page’s own line: “Delivery to 58 wilayas · from 400 DZD”. Then “Save”. For the buyer to see this table on the page, add the “Delivery and payment” section, kept for product and book pages: how the parcel arrives and for how much. You type no figure in it; everything comes from the delivery table: the wilayas served out of the official list’s count (or “Every wilaya” when one price serves all), the home and desk fees from lowest to highest, a free mode written “Free” and never “from 0 DZD”, while cash on delivery and the call before shipping are the order form’s own words. You write the “Heading” and “Intro”, and in “Steps” a short line under each step, from “Step 1 · Order” to “Step 4 · Payment” (the step names are fixed: they describe the order form). The five layouts: “Steps”, the order’s four moments on one path (“Order”, “We call to confirm”, “We ship it”, “Pay on delivery”), with the delivery line and the home and desk fees under them; “Table”, the fees grouped by price, each price with its wilayas, home and desk side by side, the count of wilayas served on top; “Cards”, coverage, delivery and payment as three cards with big figures, the payment card dark; “Wilayas”, every official wilaya as a number in a grid, the served ones lit, desk-only ones marked apart, and the unserved named below when there are few; and “Band”, one quiet band of three facts: delivery and the lowest fee, cash on delivery, the call before shipping. The section does not show for a digital product (“The product is digital: nothing ships. This section is for products that are delivered.”), nor before the table (“The delivery table is not set yet. Set the wilayas and the home and desk fees; this section is built from them.” with “Set up delivery”), nor with a table that serves no wilaya (“The delivery table serves no wilaya yet.”). And if you empty all four lines in “Steps”, the editor says so: “The steps show their names only. A short line under each reassures buyers more.”.
On screen: «Delivery fees»، «Set delivery fees»، «Start from suggested values»، «One price for every wilaya»، «Start empty»، «Where do you ship from?»، «To the door»، «Pickup desk»، «+50 DZD everywhere»، «No delivery to the South»، «No delivery desk»، «Try it as a buyer»، «What the buyer sees»، «Save»، «Delivery and payment»، «Step 1 · Order»، «Step 4 · Payment»، «Steps»، «Table»، «Cards»، «Wilayas»، «Band»، «Set up delivery»
Tip: Nour ships from Constantine with a single courier: she starts from “Suggested values”, fixes what differs from her contract, and sets 0 for home delivery in her own wilaya, so the buyer reads “free in some” rather than “from 0 DZD”.
Heads-up: Only whoever manages the store edits the table; others can view it. “Clear the table” stops new product pages from publishing until there is a new table. And a wilaya left unserved shows “We don't deliver to … at the moment”, with a chance to write to you on WhatsApp.

### 5. What the buyer sees: from the page to “Order received”
The buyer opens the page and sees the product and its photos (for a book, they read a sample), and in the box “Pay on delivery”, “Delivery to 58 wilayas · from 400 DZD” and “We call before shipping”. They tap “Fill in the order form” and find “Your order” in this order: the product summary, “Quantity”, your questions, “Phone number” (“We call you on this number to confirm the order.”), “Full name”, “Wilaya”, “Commune” (loaded after choosing the wilaya), “Address or landmark”, “How you receive it” (“To my home” or “From the delivery desk”, each with its price), then “Product”, “Delivery” and “Total” live, and finally “Confirm, pay on delivery” with “We call you to confirm before shipping” under it. No account, no payment now. If they pick a wilaya you do not serve, they read “no delivery” and “We don't deliver to … at the moment.” with “Ask the seller on WhatsApp”. After confirming, “Order received” shows with the order number and “We'll call you on … to confirm before shipping.”. You then call, from the “Follow-up desk” that lists new orders. For a digital product there is no delivery form: the button leads to the student portal, where it is bought and the download link arrives.
On screen: «Your order»، «Quantity»، «Phone number»، «Full name»، «Wilaya»، «Commune»، «Address or landmark»، «How you receive it»، «Product»، «Delivery»، «Total»، «Confirm, pay on delivery»، «Order received»
Tip: Test the form yourself from a phone before publishing: pick your wilaya, check that the total (product + delivery) is what you expect and that communes appear after the wilaya.
Heads-up: The buyer sees the full total before sending; if it changes after choosing the wilaya they read “Total with delivery: … Check it, then confirm.”. Every number is called before shipping, so answer new orders the same day.

## After Product and book
- Follow the orders: From the “Follow-up desk”: you call the buyer and confirm before shipping.
- Answer the doubts: “Questions” and “Guarantee” before the price section.
- Set up tracking: To know where your orders come from.
- Check on a phone: Most product buyers order from their phones.

## Questions

**Does the buyer need an account to order?**
No. The “Order now” form is filled with no account: phone, name, wilaya, commune, address. A digital product, though, is bought from the student portal.

**Why will my product page not publish?**
Because the “Delivery fees” table does not exist or serves no wilaya. Set it in “Store” and the red note disappears.

**Why did the “Order now” form disappear?**
Because the offer is not “single item”: quantity steps, tiers and bundles are ordered from the order sheet through the “Tiers” section.

**Can I use “Comes with” on a book page?**
No, the two recipes do not accept it. Put what comes with the book under “Specs” or “Description”.

**How does a visitor read a sample of the book?**
By adding photos of pages under “Sample pages” and choosing “Book”: the “Read a sample” button appears. The “Spread” layout flips the pages on a rail.

**Do I write the delivery price in my text?**
No. The line “Delivery to 58 wilayas · from 400 DZD” and the live total come from the delivery fees table.

**How do I show the wilayas and delivery fees before the order form?**
With the “Delivery and payment” section on the product or book page: every figure comes from the delivery fees table, and it does not show for a digital product or while the table serves no wilaya.

**Can I sell two pieces at a lower price?**
Yes: tiered quantities (one piece at a price, two at another) are set with the “By quantity” type and sold through the order sheet. In a “One item” offer, each piece has its price, up to 3 or 5 pieces.
