# Your teachers: the directory, and each teacher’s page

> The “Teachers” page gives a line to everyone who teaches in your school: who they are, on which contract, what they sold this month, what’s left for the school, and how fast they answer their students. Each line opens the teacher’s page: their courses, six months of sales, what waits for your decision, their contract and statements, and the quality of their follow-up. In this lesson Mourad Belkacem reads the three teachers of “Al Ofok Academy” in October, searches for the physics teacher, then opens Samia Ben Amor’s page.

- Time: About 8 minutes
- Who can do it: Both pages need “View the team”. The money columns (model, sales, school’s share) and the “Money” tab need “View payments” or “See teacher contracts”. Suspending and ending a collaboration need “Manage team and invitations”; the “Activity” tab needs “Activity log”.

## In short
1. Open “School” → “Teachers”: a line for everyone who teaches, the director’s on top.
2. Read the line: department, contract, courses, students, month’s sales, school’s share, reply time, status.
3. Search by name, subject or department; filter by status and model; sort by sales or name.
4. Switch between “Table” and “Cards”; on a phone, always cards.
5. The line’s “⋯”: their page, “View as”, “Edit contract”, suspending and ending the collaboration.
6. The teacher page’s head: role, since when, last sign-in, contract, accepted rules version.
7. “Overview”: the month’s numbers, six months of sales, their courses, what waits on you, team, contract and quotas.
8. “Courses”, “Quality”, “Team”, “Activity”: each side in its tab.
9. “Money”: current contract, payout account, contract history and statements.
10. “View as”: “My school” as the teacher sees it, read only.

## Before you start
- A school that’s on, with at least one teacher: the lessons “Open your school” and “Invite a teacher”.
- The “View the team” permission, and “View payments” or “See teacher contracts” to see money.

## The steps

### 1. Open “Teachers”
From “School” → the “Team” group → “Teachers”. Under the title, a summary line: “3 teachers · 3 active”, plus “awaiting acceptance” and “suspended” when there are any; each part is a filter that shows that group alone. In the header, ““Teach with us” applications” with the number of new applications, and “Invite a teacher” for whoever manages the team. The directory gathers everyone who teaches: teachers by role, the director, and any member with a course, even an assistant. The director’s line always stays on top (“School director”, “Your courses · 100% to the school”): it’s the reference the others are read against.
On screen: «Teachers»، «… teachers»، «… active»، «… awaiting acceptance»، «… suspended»، «“Teach with us” applications»، «Invite a teacher»، «School director»
Tip: On day one, with no teachers: “No teachers at “…” yet”, with “Open “Teach with us”” and “Invite a teacher”, and a line reminding you that your own courses stay in the academy and count 100% to the school.

### 2. Read a teacher’s line
The columns: “Teacher” (the name, under it their headline or “With you since …”, or “Invited on …” if they haven’t accepted yet), “Department”, “Model” in words (“30% commission”, “45 000 DZD salary”, “3 000 DZD fee + 15% commission”), “Courses”, “Students”, “October sales”, “School’s share”, “Reply time” in hours (red if a question passed the deadline) and “Status”: “Active”, “Invited”, or “Suspended” on a faded line. For someone who hasn’t accepted yet, the numbers read “—”. At the bottom, the total: “Total for 3 teachers in October: sales 172 500 DZD · school’s share 41 100 DZD”, then “Your own courses (18 000 DZD) count 100% to the school”.
On screen: «Teacher»، «Department»، «Model»، «Courses»، «Students»، «… sales»، «School’s share»، «Reply time»، «Status»، «Active»، «Invited»، «Suspended»، «Total for … in …:»
Tip: Nadia in the example: “50 h” in red, because two of her students’ questions passed the deadline. Click her name for the details in the “Quality” tab.
Heads-up: “Model”, “… sales”, “School’s share” and the total line don’t show without “View payments” or “See teacher contracts”.

### 3. Search, filter, sort
The “Search by name, subject or department” box looks in the name, email, headline and department; in Arabic it ignores hamza variants and ta marbuta. Mourad types “physics”: only Samia’s line remains. Beside it: “Department” (with “No department”, if your school has departments), “Status” (“Active”, “Awaiting acceptance”, “Suspended”), “Model” (commission, fee, salary, no contract…) for those who see money, and “Sort”: “October sales” (the default for those who see money), “Name” (the default otherwise), “Students”, “Newest first”. As soon as a filter is on, “Clear filters” appears; with no match: “No teacher matches these filters”.
On screen: «Search by name, subject or department»، «Department»، «No department»، «Status»، «Model»، «Sort»، «… sales»، «Name»، «Students»، «Newest first»، «Clear filters»، «No teacher matches these filters»
Tip: Two words in the search mean both at once: “Arabic Nadia” finds the line holding both words, not everyone holding either.

### 4. “Table” or “Cards”
At the end of the tools, “View”: “Table” or “Cards”, and the browser remembers your choice. Each card: photo, name, headline and department, the contract badge, then three figures: the month’s sales (or the number of courses for those who don’t see money), “Students” and “Reply” — or “Unanswered” in red with the number of questions if the teacher is behind — and at the bottom their courses and status. On a phone the directory always shows as cards.
On screen: «View»، «Table»، «Cards»، «Students»، «Reply»، «Unanswered»
Tip: Cards are quicker to scan for a small school; the table compares numbers better.

### 5. The line’s “⋯”: their page, contract and decisions
At the end of each line, “⋯”: “Open their page”, “View as” and “Edit contract” (for those who see money). For whoever manages the team, after a separator: “Suspend access” (or “Lift suspension”) and “End collaboration”. Suspending asks once and says first what doesn’t change: “Suspend Nadia Meziani’s access?” — “2 courses stay published and on sale, and 31 students carry on as usual.”, “Their monthly statement continues; their sales count as their contract says.”, then what needs attention: “2 questions unanswered will have nobody to answer them.”. Then “Suspend access” or “Cancel”.
On screen: «⋯»، «Open their page»، «View as»، «Edit contract»، «Suspend access»، «Lift suspension»، «End collaboration»، «Cancel»
Tip: On a phone the menu opens as a sheet from the bottom. “End collaboration” is a four-step path (courses, questions, date, review) covered in the lesson “Staff and departments”.
Heads-up: Decisions don’t show on the director’s line, on your own, or on the deputy director’s unless you’re the owner.

### 6. The teacher’s page: the head
At the top, the “Teachers” link to go back. Then the head: the photo, their role (“Teacher”) and department if any, their name, headline and “With you since May 2026”. Under them, badges: “Active · Last signed in 3 hours ago” (or “Hasn’t signed in yet”), their contract (“30% commission”) and “Accepted rules: version 2”. On the side, “View as”, “Edit contract” and “⋯”, which holds the “Decisions”: “Suspend access” (“Immediate · lift it any time”), “End collaboration” (“4 steps: courses, questions, date, review”) and “Remove from the team” (“Loses access immediately”). A suspended teacher gets a notice at the top and a “Lift suspension” button.
On screen: «Teachers»، «With you since …»، «Last signed in …»، «Accepted rules: version …»، «View as»، «Edit contract»، «Decisions»، «Suspend access»، «End collaboration»، «Remove from the team»، «Lift suspension»
Tip: The director’s own page says it’s the director’s page: their courses count 100% to the school, and their access can’t be suspended or ended from here.
Heads-up: “Remove from the team” cuts access immediately, with no path. For a teacher with courses and students, use “End collaboration” to move their courses and questions first.

### 7. “Overview”: the teacher on one page
The tabs: “Overview”, “Courses”, “Money”, “Team”, “Permissions”, “Quality”, “Activity”. In “Overview”, four figures: “October sales” (84 000 DZD, “Up to October 9”), “Their share” (58 800 DZD, “70% · provisional”), “Students” (96 “In 3 courses”) and “Reply time” (“4 hours”, “1 question unanswered”). Then “Sales over 6 months”: a column per month, the current month hollow because it isn’t over, with “6-month total”, “Monthly average” and “Best month”. Then “Their courses” and “Waiting on you”: their course sent for review with “Review”, and September’s closed statement with “Record payment”. On the side, “Their team” (their assistant Yacine Mansouri), “Contract and rules” (model, contract version and since when, rules version) and “Their quotas” (storage, courses, assistants) with “Edit”.
On screen: «Overview»، «Courses»، «Money»، «Team»، «Permissions»، «Quality»، «Activity»، «… sales»، «Their share»، «Students»، «Reply time»، «Sales over 6 months»، «so far»، «Their courses»، «All courses»، «Waiting on you»، «Review»، «Record payment»، «Their team»، «Contract and rules»، «Their quotas»، «Edit»
Tip: Without money access, two other figures replace sales and share: “Courses” (and how many are published) and “Grading waiting”.
Heads-up: “Their share” is provisional until the month closes: the amount paid is the statement’s.

### 8. “Courses”, “Quality”, “Team”, “Activity”
“Courses” is a table: “Course” (and its number of lessons), “Status” (“Draft”, “Published”, “Archived”), “Review” (“To review”, “Changes requested”, “Approved”, “Declined”, “Withdrawn”), “Students” and “Price” (“Free” or “No price” where it applies). “Quality”: “Average first reply” (last 30 days), “Unanswered questions” and “Oldest …”, “Past the deadline” and “Grading waiting”, with “Open Support” and “Open grading”. “Team”: their departments, their assistants (“… of … allowed”) and whom they assist. And “Activity”, for those with “Activity log”: what happened to them and what they did, filtered by “All”, “Content”, “Money”, “Team”, “Rules”.
On screen: «Course»، «Status»، «Review»، «Price»، «Draft»، «Published»، «To review»، «Approved»، «Average first reply»، «Unanswered questions»، «Past the deadline»، «Grading waiting»، «Open Support»، «Open grading»، «Activity»
Tip: When questions pass the deadline, the “Quality” tab says so plainly and suggests assigning them to someone else from Support.
Heads-up: “Permissions” shows their role, scope, exceptions and quotas; only whoever manages the team edits them, and nobody edits their own. The details are in the lesson “Staff and departments”.

### 9. “Money”: contract, payout account, statements
The “Money” tab, for those who see money. The “Current contract” in large type (“30% commission”) and its sentence (“to the school from each sale”), a bar splitting the sale: “Theirs 70%” and “School 30%”, and tiers if any. Then the “Payout account”: “CCP · 0023458791 42”, “In the name of Samia Ben Amor · Verified”, and “Edit contract” opens her contract in “Contracts and commissions”. Then the “Contract history” with its versions (current, scheduled, past) and the notice “Any financial change takes effect on the first of a month after at least 14 days’ notice.”. Finally “Their statements”: “Month”, “Their share”, “Status” — October “Provisional”, “Closes on November 1”, and September “Closed · unpaid” with “Record payment”.
On screen: «Money»، «Current contract»، «Theirs …%»، «School …%»، «Payout account»، «Verified»، «Edit contract»، «Contract history»، «Their statements»، «Month»، «Their share»، «Provisional»، «Closed · unpaid»، «Record payment»، «Statements and payouts»
Tip: If a line flags sales without a price this month, price them before closing day so their statement comes out right.
Heads-up: The full account number is visible only with “Record teacher payments”; others see the last four digits after “••••”.

### 10. “View as”: their school, through their eyes
From the page head or the directory’s “⋯”, “View as” opens “My school” as Samia sees it, under a dark strip: “You’re seeing the school as Samia Ben Amor sees it”, “Read only · nothing is saved” and “Exit”. You see what waits on them (unanswered questions, papers to grade), their requests and reviews, their students and courses, the month’s provisional statement, their contract, rules and quotas. “Read only: you can’t act on their behalf from here.”
On screen: «View as»، «You’re seeing the school as … sees it»، «Read only · nothing is saved»، «Exit»، «My school»
Tip: Use it before answering a teacher who says “I can’t see my statement” or “I can’t find my request”: you see the very screen in front of them.
Heads-up: If your role doesn’t cover contracts, their contract and statements stay hidden here too.

## Next
- Invite a new teacher: A link with their role and contract: the lesson “Invite a teacher”.
- Change a contract: Commission, fee, salary, and versions after notice: the lesson “Contracts and commissions”.
- Follow quality: Reply time and grading for every teacher: the lesson “Quality and reports”.

## Questions

**Why does an assistant appear in the teachers directory?**
Because the directory gathers everyone with a course in the school, not just the “Teacher” role. An assistant with a course shows up with its numbers.

**Why can’t I see the sales and contract columns?**
You need “View payments” or “See teacher contracts”. Without them the directory keeps teacher, department, courses, students, reply time and status.

**What’s the difference between “Suspend access” and “End collaboration”?**
Suspending cuts access at once and can be lifted whenever you like; their courses keep selling and their statement continues. Ending is a four-step path that moves their courses and questions and sets the leaving date.

**A teacher’s reply time is red — what do I do?**
Open their page → “Quality” to see how many questions passed the deadline and the oldest, then “Open Support” to assign them to someone else if needed.

**Does the teacher know I used “View as”?**
“View as” is read only: nothing is saved there and nothing changes in their account.

**Does the directory remember that I chose cards?**
Yes, in this browser. And on a phone the directory always shows as cards.
