# Audience and reports: who came, when, and for how long

> Today every live runs on a Google Meet or Zoom link: whoever presses the join button on the live’s page counts as present, without their minutes in the meeting; counting by the minute and replay minutes come with the Dirassa+ room, coming “Soon”. Once it opens, attendance in lives is counted by the minute: when each student joined and left, their minutes on air, and replay minutes apart. “Audience” shows one live name by name; “Reports” shows the month live by live. Salim Bouzid sees that 38 of 46 students came to the Unit 3 review live, 5 caught up by replay, and Khadidja in Béchar dropped twice; Leila Kacemi sees how long her free live’s audience stayed before she schedules her workshop.

- Time: About 3 minutes
- Who can do it: “Own live classes” for their lives; “All teachers’ live classes” for everyone in their scope.

## In short
1. “Audience”: pick an ended live to see who came live, who watched the replay instead, who was absent, and the average stay.
2. “Who came and who didn't”: each student with in, out, minutes and a note (late, dropped, replay), with filters.
3. A student’s record: attended, minutes watched, caught up by replay, and their lives.
4. “Reports”: the month’s numbers, hours per week, “Every live”, and “Export” to CSV.

## Before you start
- A live that ended. On a Meet or Zoom link (every live today), whoever presses the join button on the live’s page counts as present, without their minutes in the meeting; minute-by-minute attendance comes with the Dirassa+ room.
- “Audience” shows lives from the last 60 days, “Reports” the last three months.

## The steps

### 1. “Audience”: one live and its attendance bar
Audience (attendance is counted by the minute, live and replay apart) opens on the latest ended live, and Choose a live lists those of the last 60 days. At the top, its title, date and how many were invited, then the Attendance bar in three colours: “came live”, “watched the replay instead”, “absent”, and the average stay. Attendance is counted from the room itself: it starts when the student enters while on air and stops when they leave; waiting-room minutes don’t count. You also reach this page from “Details” on the live’s page afterwards, or “Attendance minute by minute”.
On screen: «Audience»، «Choose a live»، «Attendance»، «came live»، «watched the replay instead»، «absent»
Tip: Before your first live, the page says so: here you’ll see who came, when, and who caught up by replay.

### 2. “Who came and who didn't”: name by name
The Who came and who didn't part filters by all, late (joined more than 10 minutes after the real start), replay and absent. Columns: “Student”, a small strip of the minutes watched, “In”, “Out”, “Minutes” and “Note” (“From the start”, minutes late, drops, “Left and came back”, replay minutes, absent). The first 40, then “Show all”. The host and team aren’t counted. A name opens the student’s record.
On screen: «Who came and who didn't»، «All»، «Student»، «In»، «Out»، «Minutes»، «Note»، «From the start»، «Left and came back»، «Show all»
Tip: Khadidja in Béchar dropped twice on 4G: Salim sends her the replay at those two minutes, or suggests “Audio only” for the next live.

### 3. A student’s record across lives
A name in “Audience” opens their record in a side panel: “Attended” (7 of 8), “Minutes watched”, “Caught up by replay” (how many missed lives they watched as replays), then Their lives one by one with their status (live, live but late, by replay, absent, upcoming) and minutes.
On screen: «Attended»، «Minutes watched»، «Caught up by replay»، «Their lives»
Tip: Before calling a parent or following up a trainee, the record tells you in seconds whether they come, catch up by replay, or miss out.

### 4. “Reports”: the month live by live, and exporting it
Reports: pick the “Month” (one of the last three) and “Lives by” if you run several teachers. The month’s numbers: “Hours watched” (live and replay), “Invited who came” (live, not by replay), “Average stay” and “Students' questions” with the share who took the polls. Then Hours watched per week: the last ten weeks, live and replay stacked. Then Every live (“Newest first”): live, date, host, invited, attended, attendance, “Peak”, average stay, questions, “Took the poll”; ten rows then “Show all”, each opening its audience. Export downloads the month’s CSV (lives-2026-10.csv), opening in Excel.
On screen: «Reports»، «Month»، «Lives by»، «Hours watched»، «Invited who came»، «Average stay»، «Students' questions»، «Hours watched per week»، «Every live»، «Newest first»، «Peak»، «Took the poll»، «Show all»، «Export»
Tip: Leila compares her free live (65% attendance, peak 198) with her paid workshop: the average stay tells her which topic keeps people to the end.

## After the numbers
- Follow up absentees: A summary and homework that arrive with the replay: the “After the live” lesson.
- The replay: Availability and chapters: the “Recording and replay” lesson.
- In the school: Each teacher’s numbers over 30 days: the “Lives in the school” lesson.

## Questions

**Do waiting-room minutes count as attendance?**
No. Attendance counts only while on air, by the second, from the student entering the room to leaving it.

**Is the replay part of the attendance rate?**
In “Reports”, “Invited who came” counts live, not replay. Replay minutes are counted apart, in the bar and in each student’s record.

**When is a student late?**
If they join more than 10 minutes after the live’s real start.

**Can I export attendance?**
Yes. “Export” in “Reports” downloads a CSV of every live of the month with its numbers, opening in Excel.

**Is attendance counted for a Zoom or Meet live?**
Whoever presses the join button on the live’s page counts as present; their minutes we can’t know, since the live happens there.
