# The blog: a post that answers a question and leads to your course

> A post that answers a question your students type into Google can bring you students every month. The Designer’s blog writes it with you: Noqta turns one of your lessons into a draft, or you write it with your lesson blocks, adding your course card or a free file in exchange for a phone number. Once published, you see for each post who read to the end, who clicked the course, and who bought.

- Time: About 7 minutes
- Who can do it: Writing needs the permission to edit or publish showcases; publishing needs the publish permission (otherwise the button reads “Ready to publish”).

## In short
1. Open “Blog”: the last 30 days in numbers, posts with their status, destination and Google readiness.
2. “Turn a lesson into a post”: pick the lesson, then the goal, and Noqta writes the draft.
3. Write in the writer: title, introduction, cover, blocks and the course card.
4. Answer the four “Before publishing” questions, then publish now or schedule.
5. Read the results: from opening the post to buying, and where readers came from.

## Before you start
- Your Designer site published: the blog lives at its address, under /blog.
- A question your students ask often, or a published lesson with text or a transcribed video.
- The course the post leads to, or a free file to give in exchange for a number.

## The steps

### 1. The blog at a glance
Open “Blog” from “Your site”. Under the title, the post count and the blog’s address, and two buttons: “Turn a lesson into a post” and “Write a post”. Then the last 30 days: “Reads this month”, “Read to the end” (70% or more), “Clicked a course” and “Bought after a post” (a paid order within 7 days of the click). Then the tabs “All”, “Published”, “Drafts”, “Scheduled”, the “Categories and series” link and a title search. Each post: “Leads to” (the course, “Free file”, or “Leads nowhere” in yellow), its reads and the Google column (“Ready” or what’s missing). In ⋯: “Open in the writer”, results, copy link, translate, “Unpublish”, “Archive”, and delete a draft.
On screen: «Blog»، «Turn a lesson into a post»، «Write a post»، «Reads this month»، «Read to the end»، «Clicked a course»، «Bought after a post»، «All»، «Published»، «Drafts»، «Scheduled»، «Categories and series»، «Leads to»، «Ready»، «Open in the writer»، «Unpublish»، «Archive»
Heads-up: A post that was published once can’t be deleted: unpublish or archive it. Deleting is for drafts never published.

### 2. “Turn your lesson into a post” with Noqta
“Turn a lesson into a post” opens three steps. First the lesson — your lessons grouped by course, with a search; Noqta writes only from the lesson’s text and its video transcript, never from the internet. Then the goal: “Students find me on Google”, “Give something free for a phone number” or “Announce a new course”, and “Write the draft”. You watch Noqta read the lesson, write the title and intro, split it into headed paragraphs and place the course card. Then open the draft in the writer. Nothing is published before you review it.
On screen: «Turn a lesson into a post»، «Students find me on Google»، «Give something free for a phone number»، «Announce a new course»، «Write the draft»
Tip: A lesson with a transcribed video gives a richer draft: transcribe it first in the lesson editor.

### 3. The writer: title, blocks and the course card
The writer fills the screen: at the top “Back to the blog”, preview, “Before publishing” with its counter, and “Publish” (or “Ready to publish” without the publish permission). On the page, the title — one that answers a question your students search — then the “Introduction” and the cover with a line that describes it. Write, or type “/” or “Add a block”: “Course card” at its real price, “Free file” downloaded after the reader leaves a number, “Question and answer” shown in Google, and your lesson blocks (paragraph, image, video, note, heading, step-by-step exercise, summary, table, interactive page, code…). On a paragraph, Noqta offers simpler, shorter, fix the language or translate.
On screen: «Before publishing»، «Publish»، «Ready to publish»، «Introduction»، «Add a block»، «Course card»، «Free file»، «Question and answer»
Tip: On the side, the post outline and one Noqta suggestion at a time (description, course card, Q&A, cover), to use or ignore.

### 4. “Before publishing”: four questions, then publish
Press “Before publishing” and a sheet asks four questions. “What does a student see in Google?”: the “Title in Google”, the description with “Suggest a better description”, and the address (change it and the old one redirects). “Where does it lead the reader?”: the “Destination” — “A course” (a card in the post and a bar on phones), “A free file” or “Nothing yet”. “Who wrote it, and where does it go?”: author, category, series and position. “When does it go live?”: “Now” or “At a time” (“Algiers time”), and “Languages” with translation. At the bottom, “What is missing”, then “Publish the post” or “Schedule the post”.
On screen: «Before publishing»، «What does a student see in Google?»، «Title in Google»، «Suggest a better description»، «Where does it lead the reader?»، «Destination»، «A course»، «A free file»، «Nothing yet»، «Who wrote it, and where does it go?»، «When does it go live?»، «Now»، «At a time»، «Algiers time»، «Languages»، «What is missing»، «Publish the post»، «Schedule the post»
Heads-up: Red blocks publishing: no title, an empty post, an invalid address, a “course” destination with no course, or a “free file” with no block.

### 5. Where the post appears, and its results
The published post lives at your site’s address under /blog: an outline, the course card with “Start the course” and a bar on phones, “Send it to me” for the free file, and related posts. From ⋯, the post’s results: the period (7 days, 30 days, since publishing) and the path from reading to buying — “Opened the post”, “Read most of it”, clicked the course, bought, left their number — real readers, no bots; then where they came from (Google, Facebook and Instagram, WhatsApp and Telegram…), devices, and a tip computed from the numbers.
On screen: «Start the course»، «Send it to me»، «Opened the post»، «Read most of it»
Tip: A post doesn’t sell on its own: its card and button lead to the course page at its real price, where the student buys.

## What comes next
- A series of posts: “Categories and series”: posts read in order.
- Translate: Translation makes a draft in the other language, to review then publish.
- Share: Copy the link and send it to your students’ groups.

## Questions

**Does Noqta write the post from the internet?**
No. She writes the draft only from the chosen lesson’s text and its video transcript, and nothing is published before you review it.

**Why can’t I publish the post?**
Red items in “Before publishing” block it: a title, content, a valid address, and a course if the destination is a course, or a “Free file” block if it’s a file. If you see “Ready to publish”, publishing belongs to the owner or a permitted member.

**How does a reader buy from a post?**
The course card, “Start the course” and the phone bar lead to the course page. A counted purchase = clicked the course from the post, then paid within 7 days.

**Can I delete a published post?**
No: unpublish or archive it. Deleting is for drafts that were never published.

**I changed a post’s address after publishing — are visitors lost?**
No. The old address keeps working and redirects to the new one.
