# The booking page: what your visitor sees, from the link to a confirmed booking

> Every service you turn on in “Bookings” becomes a page on your academy's address where any visitor books without an account: they pick a time that is really free, type their name and phone, pay the way you allow, and get the reminders and the room link. This lesson shows those pages as the visitor sees them, so you know what to share and can answer when someone asks. At “Al-Ofok Academy”, Salim Bouzid shares the link to “Private review session” (60 minutes, 2,500 DZD): Youcef in Oran books it as a guest, Rania in Paris on her own clock, and Amina joins the waiting list for “Group English conversation”. The same pages serve a photographer selling a studio workshop or a marketing coach selling a follow-up session.

- Time: About 6 minutes to read
- Who can do it: Service links and the “Booking page” button need “Own bookings” or “All teachers' bookings”; the “Book a session” section on the site needs “Edit the public site”. The pages themselves open for any visitor, with no account.

## In short
1. The link from “Services” (“Booking page” and “Copy service link”), the “Book a session” section on your site, and the “Stuck on a lesson?” card on the course page.
2. /book shows everything bookable: the teachers, the free first call, and one card per service with its nearest free time and price.
3. The service page says what it is, how long, where it happens, how it is confirmed, and your cancellation policy in numbers under “Before you book”.
4. Booking is three steps: “Time”, then “Your details” (name, phone, your questions), then “Payment”; nothing is paid before the last.
5. They pay with what the store accepts: card, BaridiMob / CCP receipt (time held 3 hours), code, or their credit; from abroad, in their currency.
6. The page /book/b/… is the guest's account: the state, the room, the calendar, and moving or cancelling within the policy.
7. A full group session takes “Join the waiting list”, and a freed seat is offered to the first person for two hours.

## Before you share the link
- An active service in “Services”, visible as “Public” or “Private link”, and free times in “Your hours” if it is booked at a time.
- Payment methods in the store settings (card, BaridiMob / CCP receipt, selling abroad): bookings pay with the same ones, and Dirassa+ takes no commission.
- Your academy's address, such as alofok.dirassaplus.com: the booking pages live under /book.

## The steps

### 1. Where visitors come from: the link, the site section, the course card
In “Services” (under “What you offer”), the “Booking page” button at the top opens alofok.dirassaplus.com/book in a new tab, as a visitor sees it. On the row of each active, non-hidden service, the “Copy service link” icon copies alofok.dirassaplus.com/book/private-review and says “Service link copied”; under “More”, “Open the booking page”. In the service editor, the “As a visitor sees it” card shows its next times and the same copy button. Who sees a service is “Who sees it”: “Public” (in /book for every visitor), “Your students” (for people enrolled in your courses, signed in), “Private link” (not listed and kept out of search engines, bookable by anyone with the link) and “Hidden” (not bookable; you add people by hand). The “Service link” is Latin letters, digits and hyphens. In your site editor, the “Book a session” section in the “Bookings” category asks “What does the section show?”: “One service and its times” (you choose the “Service” and write “A word from you”; it shows your name and photo, the price, the length and up to four free times in the next two weeks, each opening the booking at that time, then “Book a session”) or “Everything you can book” (cards, as many as “How many services” from 2 to 9, and a button to /book). Finally, in the service's “Linked courses”, link it to a course: the course page then shows “Stuck on a lesson? Book 30 minutes with the teacher”, with three free times in the next seven days in Algiers time, and “Pick a time”.
On screen: «Services»، «Booking page»، «Copy service link»، «Service link copied»، «More»، «Open the booking page»، «As a visitor sees it»، «Who sees it»، «Public»، «Your students»، «Private link»، «Hidden»، «Service link»، «Linked courses»، «Book a session»، «What does the section show?»، «One service and its times»، «Everything you can book»، «A word from you»، «How many services»، «Pick a time»
Tip: Nesrine Haddad linked her “Private review session” (30 minutes, 1,500 DZD, 1,000 DZD for her students) to her course “Facebook ads step by step”: under the course page's header it reads “One exercise or one idea, on screen together. 1,500 DZD, or 1,000 DZD for students of the course.”. Tapping a time opens the service page with that time already chosen.
Heads-up: Changing the “Service link” breaks links you already sent. The section stays invisible to visitors while nothing can be booked; only the editor shows “Nothing to book yet…”. And the course card does not appear for a “Private link” service.

### 2. /book: everything bookable on one page
At the top, “Book a session with Al-Ofok Academy” and a line: “Choose what suits you, then the day and time. The times shown are really free.”; in an academy with several teachers the line starts with how many, and under it comes the “Teachers” row: “All · 6”, then each teacher with photo and title; if the visitor picks Leila Kasmi, the heading becomes “With Leila Kasmi” and only her services remain. If you have an “Intro call” service, it gets its own strip above the list: “First call free · 15 minutes”, “Not sure yet who to start with? Talk to the teacher before paying anything.”, its nearest time and “Pick a time”. Then “Everything you can book”: one card per service, its edge in its kind's colour (“One-to-one”, “Group”, “Weekly slot”, “Intro call”, “Work review”, “In person”), its length (“60 min”) or seats, its title and short line, the teacher, and at the bottom the honest next step: “Next time: tomorrow 17:00”, for a group “3 seats left” and its date or “Full”, for a work review “No appointment · you send your work”, or no free times right now; and its price or “Free”. The whole card links to the service page. “Public” services show here, and “Your students” ones only to your signed-in students.
On screen: «Book a session»، «Teachers»، «All · {n}»، «First call free · {n} minutes»، «Pick a time»، «Everything you can book»، «Next time:»، «Full»، «No appointment · you send your work»، «Free»
Tip: Under each teacher's photo on their service page, the “All their sessions” link goes back to /book filtered to them: a good link for Karim Zerrouki's Instagram bio.
Heads-up: When nothing can be booked, the page says so and stays out of search engines. A service booked at a time with no hours in “Your hours” stays in the list, but its card says there are no free times right now.

### 3. The service page: what it is, how it goes, “Before you book”
The page alofok.dirassaplus.com/book/private-review has two halves: on a computer the booking panel stays beside the reading; on a phone it comes under the head. The head: the kind, the title and short line, then small facts: “60 minutes”, the place (“The academy's room · no app needed” for a one-to-one session, “The academy's live room” for a group, “A link from the teacher” if you set your fixed link, or the place's name in person, such as “Leila's studio, Hydra”), “Instant confirmation” or “Teacher approves”, and for a work review “Answer within 72 h”. Then the price with “per session”, “per seat”, “per month · renews” for a weekly slot, or “per review”; a signed-in student sees your student price, if you set one, with “Your price as a student of the academy”. Under the head, the teacher's card (photo, title, bio) and “All their sessions”, then “About the session” (your full description), then “How it works” in three steps that follow the place: “Pick a time and pay”, “Say what you want from it”, then “Enter the room” (the link opens 10 minutes before), “Join by the link” or “Come to the place” with the address; for a work review, “Book and pay”, “Send your work”, “The answer arrives on time”. In person, the place card and “Open the map”. Then “Before you book” in your policy's numbers, at first: “Free cancellation up to 24 h before, full refund.”, “Between 6 h and the session, 50% comes back.”, “2 moves per booking, up to 6 h before.”, “Not showing up without cancelling counts the session.”. For sessions in the room, “Questions before booking”: the internet cutting out, recording (nothing is recorded unless you both agree, and a recording is deleted after 30 days), and no app.
On screen: «The academy's room · no app needed»، «The academy's live room»، «A link from the teacher»، «In person»، «Instant confirmation»، «Teacher approves»، «per session»، «per seat»، «per month · renews»، «Your price as a student of the academy»، «All their sessions»، «About the session»، «How it works»، «Open the map»، «Before you book»، «Questions before booking»
Tip: The description is what convinces: say in “About the session” what the learner prepares and leaves with. Salim wrote: “Send me the exercises you're stuck on beforehand, and we solve them together on screen.”
Heads-up: What “Before you book” says is exactly what the engine applies when someone cancels: change your policy in “Booking settings” and the page changes with it, so don't write other numbers in the description.

### 4. Booking: “Time”, then “Your details”
Above the panel, the steps: “Time”, “Your details”, “Payment”. In “Time”, for a service with free times: on a computer the month with its free days raised, on a phone “Pick the day”, the month arrows and a strip of days; then the chosen day's hours. Under them, the clock line: “Times in Algiers time” and “Change” for another zone; the visitor's country is read from their device: Rania in Paris reads “Times in Paris time, with Algiers time underneath”, and if her country's clock changes during the weeks shown, a line warns her that sessions stay at their Algiers time. Youcef picks Thursday 15 October 17:00 and the button becomes “Continue · Thursday 15 · 17:00”, with “Nothing to pay before the last step” under it. For a group or in-person service, the list of set dates, each with its seat squares and “3 of 8 left”, and the button “Take my seat · …”; for a work review there is no time step at all. In “Your details” a guest sees “Have an account? Sign in to use your credit” and “Sign in”, then “Or book as a guest”, and three fields: “Full name”, “Phone” (“For reminders only”, an Algerian 10-digit number), “Email” (optional; the reminders go there). Then your questions under “Before the session · read by the teacher”: text, choice, level or link; a file question is answered after booking: “You'll send the file after booking, from your booking page.”. The last button is “To payment · 2,500 DZD”, except when there's nothing to choose at payment: a “Teacher approves” service shows “Send the request” (“…nothing to pay now. Once accepted, you pay 2,500 DZD from your booking page.”), a free one “Confirm the booking”, and someone whose credit covers it “Book with my credit · …”.
On screen: «Time»، «Your details»، «Payment»، «Pick the day»، «Change»، «Times in Algiers time»، «Continue · {when}»، «Nothing to pay before the last step»، «Take my seat · {when}»، «Have an account? Sign in to use your credit»، «Or book as a guest»، «Full name»، «Phone»، «Email»، «Before the session · read by the teacher»، «To payment · {price}»، «Send the request»، «Confirm the booking»، «Book with my credit · {when}»
Tip: A time only shows when it is free in both “Your hours” and your calendar, and everything is checked again at the moment of booking: if someone got there first, the visitor is told to pick another time and goes back to “Time”.
Heads-up: The phone is required from a guest, the email optional; but without an email they only get reminders as a notification from the academy's app, if signed in. Their booking page reminds them of that.

### 5. “Payment”: with what the store accepts, and from abroad in their currency
If the service has packs, “Payment” starts with “What are you buying?”: “This session alone” at its price, or your “Pack of 4 sessions” with a line giving 4 sessions, 2,250 DZD each, valid 60 days, this being the first, at 9,000 DZD (and for a weekly slot, “The monthly subscription”). Then “How do you pay?”, with only what you turned on: “From your credit” for someone whose pack covers it, “EDAHABIA or CIB card”, “BaridiMob or CCP receipt” (with “We hold the time for you 3 hours while the receipt is checked.”), “Gift or discount code”. Under them, “Fees” at zero and “Total”, and the policy with dates: free cancellation until Wednesday 14 October 17:00, 50% after that, nothing in the last 6 hours. The button follows the method: “Pay 2,500 DZD”, “Book and upload the proof” or “Book with the code”, and with a card “Paid through Chargily · your card details are not stored”. Then their booking page opens on “One step left: payment” with the “Held for you” countdown, and the store's own pieces: “Pay now” by card, and “or with a receipt” with your postal account details and the receipt upload. Once the receipt is up, it becomes “We got your payment proof” and the time stays held until you decide in “Requests › Receipts”. Abroad, the visitor sees neither card nor receipt but the ways to pay from abroad: “PayPal” or “Bank transfer”, with “Your time” and “Teacher's time (Algiers)”, and the line “You pay in your currency (EUR) at a fixed price set by the academy…”; a first press on “Show the amount in my currency” shows the amount, the second pays.
On screen: «What are you buying?»، «This session alone»، «The monthly subscription»، «How do you pay?»، «From your credit»، «EDAHABIA or CIB card»، «BaridiMob or CCP receipt»، «Gift or discount code»، «PayPal»، «Bank transfer»، «Fees»، «Total»، «Pay {price}»، «Book and upload the proof»، «Book with the code»، «Paid through Chargily · your card details are not stored»، «One step left: payment»، «Held for you»، «Pay now»، «or with a receipt»، «We got your payment proof»، «Your time»، «Teacher's time (Algiers)»، «Show the amount in my currency»
Tip: Dirassa+ takes nothing from the session price: the card runs through your own gateway, and a receipt is paid into your own postal account. Every paid booking is an order in your store, so you also find it with your orders.
Heads-up: With no receipt uploaded within 3 hours (or no card payment within 30 minutes), the time becomes free again and the order is closed. A “Teacher approves” service is paid only after you accept: the learner gets “Request accepted — pay to confirm” and the time is held 24 hours. With no payment method turned on, they read “The academy hasn't turned on payment for this session yet. Write to them to book.”.

### 6. The booking page: the guest's account, no password
After booking, Youcef lands on his page: at the top “Booking #B-1042 · by your link, no account”, then one heading for the state: “Your request went to Salim Bouzid”, “One step left: payment”, “We got your payment proof”, “You're booked, Youcef” the first time and then “Booking confirmed”, the session over, or why it closed (cancelled, declined by the teacher, expired, a group called off for lack of people). Under it, the date card on their clock (for Rania: “Your time (Paris) · 17:00 in Algiers”). Once confirmed: the room's door, “The room link appears here 10 minutes before · opens at 16:50”, then “Enter the room”, or in person the place and “Open the map”; then “Add to your calendar” with three buttons, “Google”, “Apple” (a calendar file the phone opens in its own calendar) and “Outlook”, the event pointing to the booking page, not to the room link; and the reminders line, 24 h and 1 h before. Then two buttons: “Change the time” with “2 moves left”, opening the same teacher's free times over 30 days and “Confirm the new time”; and “Cancel the booking” (or “Cancel the request” before it is confirmed), whose first line is the decision: “Cancel now and 2,500 DZD comes back in full. No cut, no fees.”, then the policy's stages with the current one marked, an optional reason, “Keep the booking” or “Cancel the booking”, and “Or change the time instead of cancelling”. In the last hours, “Before you cancel” comes first: write to the academy on WhatsApp, 10 minutes of grace for anyone running late, the room from a phone. At the bottom, “Keep your sessions in one place” to create an account, and “A question about the booking? Write to the academy” if WhatsApp is on for your site.
On screen: «Booking»، «by your link, no account»، «You're booked, {name}»، «Booking confirmed»، «Enter the room»، «Add to your calendar»، «Google»، «Apple»، «Outlook»، «Change the time»، «Cancel the booking»، «Cancel the request»، «Confirm the new time»، «Keep the booking»، «Or change the time instead of cancelling»، «Before you cancel»، «Keep your sessions in one place»، «A question about the booking? Write to the academy»
Tip: A guest's proof is a small file kept 180 days in their browser. From another device they read “This booking opens with your link”, with “Sign in” and “Book a session”. The payment link you send for a booking you entered by hand makes the browser that opens it the booking's holder.
Heads-up: Moves follow the service's policy (2 moves up to 6 h before, at first) and the button disappears once they're used. For a “Teacher approves” service the time doesn't move at once: the request reaches you in “Requests › Moves”. And a booking made as a guest stays on this page: an account created later does not gather it into “My sessions”.

### 7. The full session: waiting list and the freed seat
In “Group English conversation” with Karim Zerrouki, the eight seats on Saturday 24 October 10:00 are taken: the date shows as full, 8 of 8. Amina taps it: a line explains, a guest gets “Name” and “Phone” fields, and the “Join the waiting list” button; nothing to pay. Then: “You're on the waiting list · number 2” and three steps: the seat is offered to the first on the list, they get a notification with the deadline, they confirm and pay, or it moves to the next. When someone cancels, the seat is held for the first on the list for up to two hours, or until one hour before the session if that is sooner; they get “A seat opened for you!” on their phone and in the bell, and find it at the top of “My sessions”: “A seat freed up for you in “Group English conversation””, “Held for you until 15:40 (Algiers time)” and “Confirm”. The offer page, “A seat freed up for you”, has its “Held for you” countdown and two ways: “From your credit” and “EDAHABIA or CIB card”, then “Confirm my seat”, with why there's no receipt: “A receipt isn't offered here: checking it takes up to 3 hours, longer than the offer lasts.”. If the time runs out, they read “The time ran out, so the seat went to the next person.” and it is offered to the next. Your site also has a page /book/w/… for the same offer, with the same two ways.
On screen: «Join the waiting list»، «You're on the waiting list · number {n}»، «A seat freed up for you»، «A seat freed up for you in “{title}”»، «Held for you»، «From your credit»، «EDAHABIA or CIB card»، «Confirm my seat»، «Confirm»
Tip: You can also offer a seat to someone on the list yourself, or remove them, from “Requests › Waitlist”.
Heads-up: The offer is notified to whoever joined signed in to their account; a guest who joined with just a name and phone gets no message today, so encourage your students to join from their accounts. And no seat is offered in the last hour before the session.

## Once your pages are out
- Open your hours: The free times shown, and what blocks them: the “Your hours” lesson.
- Handle requests and receipts: Approval, receipts, moves, waitlist and refunds: the “Requests” lesson.
- What your student sees in “My sessions”: The next session, credit, the weekly slot and what follows a session.
- Selling abroad: A fixed price in their currency, PayPal and transfer: the international selling lesson.

## Questions

**Does a visitor need an account to book?**
No. They type their full name and phone (and email if they like) and book as a guest; their booking page opens from the browser they booked with. Someone with an account presses “Sign in” so their credit is used and their name filled in. “Your students” services, though, are only seen and booked by a signed-in student.

**Why doesn't my service show in /book?**
Check three things: that it is active (not a draft, not paused), that “Who sees it” is “Public” (a “Private link” service isn't listed but opens by its link, “Hidden” can't be booked, “Your students” shows only to your signed-in students), and that it has free times in “Your hours” if it's booked at a time; otherwise its card says there are no free times right now.

**A guest booked on their phone, then opened the page on their computer and read “This booking opens with your link”. What now?**
The page knows its holder by their browser, so they should open it from the phone they booked with. If they need another device and you entered the booking yourself, send them the manual booking's payment link; for the next ones it's better to book from an account, so they gather in “My sessions”.

**How does a learner abroad see times and pay?**
They see every time in their country's time with Algiers time under it (“Your time (Paris) · 17:00 in Algiers”) and can change the zone with “Change”. They pay in their currency by PayPal or “Bank transfer” if you turned on selling abroad in the store, at the fixed price you set. Your calendar stays in Algiers time.

**When is an unpaid booking released?**
Receipt: the time is held 3 hours to upload the photo; once uploaded it stays held until you accept or reject it. Card: 30 minutes. A request you approved: 24 hours to pay. These numbers come from the service's policy in “Booking settings”; after them the time is free again.

**Does the visitor get an email after booking?**
They get the reminders 24 h and 1 h before the session by email if they left their address (and a notification if signed in with the app installed). No separate confirmation email is sent: the booking page itself is the confirmation, with “Add to your calendar”.

**Does the money come back as cash when they cancel in time?**
It comes back at your policy's percentage (in full before 24 h, half until 6 h, at first). Where it goes is your policy too: at first it comes back as credit with the academy, which the learner reads on their booking page after cancelling.
